Last weekend was Easter and since dude-y is almost 2, I decided we had to do more for Easter than we did last year. So, for starters we dyed eggs. It was so much fun. He helped drop the eggs into the dye and told us whether they "needs more" or "done." He also got an Easter basket this year chock full of sugar and a new shirt. Theme images by JacobH.

It took me almost a year to write this, but here it finally is. The birth story of my second baby, hux-ta-bux. I was so relieved since I was worried I still had a very long haul ahead. I remember feeling the pressure of the head and the eventual pop as the head was pushed out. Then the body! Holding hux-ta-bux for the first time.

Seems they got the flu or some other yucky upper respiratory infection. The flu has been going around. The children at their daycare and their relatives have been testing positive for the flu.
