Living the Word: December 2010

http://gregoryelang.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 13, 2010. On February 27, 2011, the Gateway Center will present its thirteenth annual Empty Bowl Dinner. From 12:30-2:30, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta joins with the Gateway Center by opening its doors to the community for this fun and tasty fundraising event. Empty Bowl benefits the Gateway Center, and is designed to give participants the eye-opening experience of how a homeless person might receive a hot meal from a soup kitchen. The Gateway Center, a self-managed 501(c)(3)...

Living the Word: October 2010

http://gregoryelang.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Lead Serve. Love. As the editting process unfolds, you end up having to cut a few words here and there in everything you write. This is the early draft Introduction I wrote for my first Christian book, Lead Serve Love (available May, 2011). In the final draft I had to cut it a good bit but didn't want to lose the original altogether, so elected to post it here for your pleasure:. Oh, for such a world! Friday, October 29, 2010. Make a list of the bad decisions which prevent you f...

Living the Word: February 2010

http://gregoryelang.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Saturday, February 13, 2010. This is the first draft of a story I'm working on for the church's upcoming newletter. It is likely to change a bit but I wanted to get something out there to prove I'm still Living the Word, or at least using my gift in His service:. The family of five piled into the car and headed for their first stop not knowing what God had in store for them. Shalihia looked out the window and thought of the woman down the hall who watched her children while she worked, and remembered the...

Living the Word: June 2010

http://gregoryelang.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Gina grew up believing her father loved her, but his withdrawn and gruff nature made it such that she reassured herself of that love more often than he did. The kind of dad who was often in a bad mood after coming home from work, what he wanted to do most was have dinner and then relax watching TV. Gina knew that he worked hard and was tired at the end of the day, but she needed more from him than she was getting. Their relationship was strained even in its best moments. A few y...

My Petite Quodlibet: September 2006

http://mypetitequodlibet.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 29, 2006. Here are a couple of pictures from the sim in Seattle. I did all of my training in the right seat as I am an FO and not a Captain, however I did get to try a bit from the left seat while my Capt was doing his right seat conversion training. It was interesting using the tiller to steer on the ground instead of the rudder pedals. Posted by Quodlibet at 09:32. Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Here Comes The Bride. Wednesday, May 24, 2006. What Muppet Personality are you? You Are Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. You take the title "mad scientist" to the extreme -with very scary things coming out of your lab.And you've invented some pretty cool things, from a banana sharpener to a robot politician. But while you're busy turning gold into cottage cheese, you need to watch out for poor little Beaker! Oh, that's very naughty, Beaker! Now you eat these paper clips this minute.". Posted by Quodlibet at 16:27. Tuesday, May 23, 2006.

Thursday, November 30, 2006. On Tuesday I did a trip from Calgary to High River to Fort St. John to Dawson Creek and then to Smithers where we overnighted. I had hoped it would be nice the next day so that I could get some good pictures of the mountains, but it only cleared up as we neared Calgary on the return. I did get a couple of good ones which I will post. Posted by Quodlibet at 21:46. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Well, they don't suck until they decide to break! Posted by Quodlibet at 19:56.

Gregory Eisenhauer

Thursday, December 4, 2008. The Passing Away of Gregory Eisenhauer (Alpharetta, GA). The board of the NPRA is sad to report the suicide early this morning of one of our members, a loving father, Gregory Eisenhauer. Gregg lived in Alpharetta, GA and is survived by his three young children, Katie, John Patrick and David. Gregg was a pillar of the community, and despite the many false allegations perpetrated upon him (as is usual in these cases) he remained committed to gaining shared custody of his children.
