San Gregorio: January 2009

http://gregoryjensen.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 8, 2009. Despite the friggin' frigid cold Manitoban air I don't mind working outside for two reasons. Reason #1 I can stop working, take off my tool belt and go pee. No need to walk 15-30 feet to get to the nearest bathroom. Reason #2 my long lost friend the "farmer's blow". The most environmental and cost effective way to purge one's nose of mucus, which apparently is "cool" to do inside. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. View my complete profile. for what its worth....: July 2008

http://nativecanuck.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

For what its worth. My thoughts may not be deep at times, but they are my thoughts.read responsively. Wednesday, July 2, 2008. I'm in New York as I write this. It's been a weird experience. NYC has always been a "neverland" type place to me. I see it in movies, tv shows, etc. Now I am here. Theres obviously a lot of stories I could share and I will in the near future. For now here's a few:. My Home and Native Land. To extend a g'day. To the fellow northerners. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Enroute observations by Phil. Archive for the ‘Family’ Category. Laquo; Older Entries. Tuesday, May 24th, 2011. As we’ve done the last couple of years, some of us are again participating in the local Walk For ALS. This is a fundraiser to help fight the disease ALS, sometimes called Lou Gehrig’s Disease, that took my brother Glen in 2004. The walk is coming right up in only four days. Any donations would be gladly accepted, and can be made online at either the Team Glen website. Thursday, July 8th, 2010.

A couple of days ago most of North America and Europe, and many countries on other continents, moved their clocks ahead one hour. Not Saskatchewan though. And we won’t be doing so for the foreseeable future, since there won’t be a referendum on Saskatchewan adopting Daylight Saving Time. Posted in Current events. Out of fairn...

Enroute observations by Phil. Archive for the ‘Environment’ Category. Laquo; Older Entries. Some rambling thoughts on creation care. Thursday, January 13th, 2011. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. Psalm 24:1 (New Living Translation). I remember my dad telling me that although he spent most of his waking hours in the bush as a child, he never saw a deer in the Shell Lake. So why are there so many more deer in that area now than when Dad was a boy?

Ask.....Seek.....Knock.....: April 2009

http://mluedemann.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Monday, April 27, 2009. Well I am finally home and it feels good. These last few days were spent in Minnedosa to celebrate a very good friend of mine's birthday. I was only home for three days before I left to Minnedosa and it felt a little weird to be driving back East in a red Firebird with a kid (a good friend) in tight skinny jeans. Happen but I forget that God has a plan that may or may not be different than mine. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. On Sunday I leave to go back to ol' Norquay. It will be...

October « 2011 « Philgrim’s Blogress

http://philloseth.ca/2011/10

Enroute observations by Phil. Archive for October, 2011. Putting this thing on ice. Friday, October 7th, 2011. This blog appeared in June 2007. At the time it seemed blogging was something that most of the 6 billion-ish inhabitants of the planet would shortly be doing, so I might as well jump in earlier rather than later. Thanks to those of you who have dropped by from time to time over these years to read my musings, especially those who have provided feedback. The LORD bless you and keep you;.

gregoryjenks | revisioning faith … shaping holy lives

Revisioning faith … shaping holy lives. Jesus Then and Jesus Now. Once and Future Bible. When words fail …. March 17, 2018. Christ Church Cathedral Grafton. This week the Sunday lectionary offers us three serves of text, each of which centres around a particular but different metaphor. All of our speaking about God is necessarily poetic and metaphorical. After all, human language developed for communication between persons about events, places, relationships and feelings in our world and in our lives.
