Grin and Beer It. One Woman's Venture Into Beer Sophistication. Thursday, September 27, 2012. New Brewery in Lansing! Lansing is small enough that I usually know the latest "haps," if you will. But I stumbled upon this new business purely by accident. I randomly decided to take a different route to work yesterday and saw a small green building labeled "EagleMonk Pub and Brewery". Approximately 2 blocks from my job. They opened less than a month ago, and I eagerly stopped by after work that same day.

I woke up about quarter after 11 and ate lunch around 1:30 and took the pictures in between. While internetting, I glanced to my right and saw the above photo. At Home in Nome. Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Wow, it's march. The last 2.5 months have been busy and lazy and not wanting to bloggy. I spent that time imbibing and then refraining, reading, watching Stephen King movies, "reality" TV, crocheting, and more reading. Here are some pictures from that time. Sometime before Christmas, Beard and I rode out with Katie to Banner Creek. Nathan and Aprille were having a cookie decorating party. The road in wasn't too bad. One tray of finished cookies. My wife picked up this 4 pack of a limited-release bourbon barrel aged versions of some of the standard beers from Rochester Mills in Auburn Hills, MI. She said she had been eyeing it and thought I would like it because she is the best. Only 5,000 of these 4 packs were made (with one of each variety of beer per pack). I dug in.
