365blessings: RISKING ALL
http://365blessings.blogspot.com/2008/06/risking-all.html
Sunday, 22 June 2008. What a blessing to know that when we risk all for God, He fills us with His unexplainable joy, amidst the trials. Lord tonight, show each one of us the next step of Your plan for our lives and help us not to hold back anything which would keep us from "risking all" for You. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). SUMMER - RELAX AND RENEW THE MIND. HE WAS THERE ALL THE TIME. I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU. MAKE SURE YOURE READY. EVERYTHING FOR HIS GLORY. THE WALK IS NEVER EASY. THE CYCLE OF LIFE.

365blessings: HAVING FUN?
http://365blessings.blogspot.com/2008/06/having-fun.html
Monday, 23 June 2008. As I say these words, Jon and a friend are playing the piano and violin in the room below me.The fitting words ring out-. My troubled soul, why so cast down. Jesus cares, He cares for you". Let's always remember whatever preoccupies our minds from time to time, that we can share it all with Jesus and what a blessing to know that we don't have to bear our worries alone, even while the world goes on around us. amen poems: July 2013
http://amenpoems.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, 4 July 2013. I was born when CD. Than a Roman number. When a bag of chips. Was just fast food. And we'd cut and paste. With scissors and glue. I was born in an age. Was a brown wooden panel. Was the closest chair. And Sky at night. Meant watching the stars. I was born at a time. Meant one hundred and five. Not a list about me. Was a sandwich and bun. Wrapped up in some foil. For the afternoon run. I was born in the days. When people had time. To talk face to face. And not just on line. For thro...

amen poems: December 2007
http://amenpoems.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
THE LEAVING OF DECEMBER 1999. A NATION ONCE AGAIN. Sunday, 30 December 2007. THE LEAVING OF DECEMBER 1999. I closed my eyes and so soon it was gone. Like some fair-weather friend whom I remember fond. But for no special reason other than I met it on the way. To another year, the next century and a new day. A quiet moment to reflect upon tonight. A new entry in the diary we call life. Closing the door but never forgetting. The memories that always lie behind - in waiting. The One on whom we base our faith...

amen poems: June 2008
http://amenpoems.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, 29 June 2008. Standing on the corner of town. Shaking their money boxes up and down. Trying to catch the slightest glance. And an opportunity to pounce. To give a coloured sticker treat. Or pin a little flag motif. They always know my favourite store. And take up residence beside the door. To give me that disdainful stare. When I pretend that they're not there. Or when I say I have no money. They seem to think it rather funny. That I should reach a shopping zone. And leave my finance all at home.

amen poems: May 2013
http://amenpoems.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
DEO VOLENTE (God willing). Sunday, 5 May 2013. Not even into tomorrow. But an hour or two. As yet unexposed, undeveloped. Unknown, becoming known. Concealed, now revealed. The Master plan in glorious detail. Moments of great elation. And everything n between. My number of days. The order of life. MY life, my death. That recedes at a pace. All of which happens. At exactly the right moment. For me to trust Him. For everything that lies. Saturday, 4 May 2013. DEO VOLENTE (God willing). Which I ever made.

365blessings: EXERCISE YOUR GIFT
http://365blessings.blogspot.com/2008/06/exercise-your-gift.html
Saturday, 21 June 2008. It spoke to me of the importance of recognising our individual gifts and of accepting what is not ours but someone else's and being able to graciously encourage them to develop their gift. Sometimes people need to be more discerning nowadays concerning their God given gifts and I believe that if we earnestly ask God to show us our gift and how to use it for His glory, He most certainly will! 365blessings: BE OF LIKE MIND
http://365blessings.blogspot.com/2008/06/be-of-like-mind.html
Tuesday, 17 June 2008. BE OF LIKE MIND. I know the plans I have for you", Jeremiah.29.11. How true this all turned out to be. Whatever we turn our hands to in the future, I pray that-. 1 God will be glorified. 2 We will always be enthusiastic about our service. 3 Our decisions will be unanimous because we surround ourselves with people of like mind. The list could go on and on. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). SUMMER - RELAX AND RENEW THE MIND. HE WAS THERE ALL THE TIME. I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU.

365blessings: EVERYTHING FOR HIS GLORY
http://365blessings.blogspot.com/2008/06/ive-just-read-my-little-calendar-verse.html
Wednesday, 25 June 2008. EVERYTHING FOR HIS GLORY. I've just read my little calendar verse. It states-. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God". But Ian reminds me in the catechism words he learnt as a child-. Man's chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever". I am blessed to know that when I obey the above then that is how I am able to enjoy all the experiences God wants me to have. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). SUMMER - RELAX AND RENEW THE MIND.

365blessings: DON'T LET ANYTHING HINDER YOU
http://365blessings.blogspot.com/2008/06/dont-let-anything-hinder-you.html
Wednesday, 18 June 2008. DON'T LET ANYTHING HINDER YOU. We held our Sports Day today. The rain stayed off for the duration and it was a truly successful afternoon. It was fun to watch kids from 4-11 years take part with enthusiasm and they enjoyed watching their parents participating as well. As I helped the kids to line up and prepare themselves for the different races, I was reminded of the bible verse which encourages us to "run the race of life" every day.
