She loves to smile, coo, be held and snuggle and thinks her big brother is pretty funny. She sleeps through the night from 9pm to 6am (thank goodness! And can roll over from belly to her back. We had been waiting until Macie was at least 6 weeks old before we made the trek up to Michigan for our annual summer trip. This year we were able to go for 3 weeks! We had been prepping Dylan for weeks leading up to it as well. Telling him how much fun he would have and all the family members he would see. We were all so excited! Luckily, all the kids passed out again pretty quickly once we finally got in our hotel room.

Lotta Love for Little Haights. Saturday, August 15, 2015. The kids and us have been having fun in Florida while trying to avoid the heat as best as possible. We mostly end up staying inside and hanging out, though, especially with all the recent rain storms! Dylan thinks the "mommy pump" is very fun so he gave it a shot. One day we ventured out for a walk but couldn't get home in time to beat the rain. Dylan didn't mind one bit and splashed in all the puddles he could find! Swim time for little miss.

Lotta Love for Little Haights. Saturday, August 29, 2015. Swim time for little miss. Completely forgetting that Macie is old enough (by our standards anyway) to start "swimming" in the pool, we finally took her in last weekend. Macie loves, loves, loves the bath so we were hopeful she would love the pool just as much. Guess what? I took her in the porpoise pouch to get used to it and then we pulled her along the water freely. She certainly enjoyed it! Well, I finally got my shots! Macie is 3 Months Old.

Lotta Love for Little Haights. Sunday, August 16, 2015. Back to work / First day of school. 12 weeks has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Daddy's first day back to work was on Thursday and so was Dylan's first day at his new school. I went back to work on Friday and Macie went to her first day of daycare Friday too. We were so happy to hear their first days went so well. Dylan keeps asking me when he gets to go back to school, so I think these good days will continue! Swim time for little miss.
