Growing and exploring in the west of Scotland. Inspired by a rumbling tummy, fueled by white wine. Saturday, 27 August 2011. Radish Beer Snacks, anyone? Not so sure what to do with the amount of Radish pods, or nuts as I think of them for some reason, I have amassed since it was suggested that they'd make good beer snacks. Even I can't drink the amount of beer that would be necessary to wash this lot down! Check out all these health benefits. Of eating radishes, but I'm still gonna need tastier ideas here.

Growing and exploring in the west of Scotland. Inspired by a rumbling tummy, fueled by white wine. Monday, 31 January 2011. Baby Wild exploring the garden perimeters. Crocus starting to peek out below the baby apple trees. And across the lawn. Difficult not to trample on though! At last, poking through the cold soil in the front garden. There is hope! The pile for the bonfire is starting to build up! Maybe this weekend if it's dry? Sunday, 30 January 2011. New Year Resolutions 2011 - Hello and Welcome!

Growing and exploring in the west of Scotland. Inspired by a rumbling tummy, fueled by white wine. Saturday, 1 October 2011. Medicine Woman - Ayrshire style. One of the things that make up for our horrid winters in Scotland, is the sheer enjoyment of watching the change of the seasons. I think that's why Spring and Autumn are my favourite times of the year. As well as looking forward to the annual Eurovision Song Contest party every Spring, and my birthday falling in Autumn! Bottled away, and if I find a...

Or more simply put - "Those who plant a garden, plant happiness". I love it. I think I'm going to inscribe it across the arch of my shed, since I doubt I'll have anything grander to display it for a while yet! Wednesday, 7 September 2011. Test the pH of your soil for free. A spoonful of sugar. Join the dots style parenting. Wise Words from Mama - The Book. Wednesday, 7 September 2011. Whilst doing some research for the real day job earlier this afternoon, I came across some NHS advice for parents in the Greater Glasgow Area. It's called Triple P Parenting. I thought I'd share this post as this is all news to me. I'm not sure whether it's something I'd use myself, but it may be a saviour for many struggling parents out there. I probably would have run to the nearest...Nothi...

http://wisewordsforbaby.blogspot.com/2011/05/blair-estate-annual-open-day-dalry.html
A spoonful of sugar. Join the dots style parenting. Wise Words from Mama - The Book. Saturday, 28 May 2011. Blair Estate Annual Open Day, Dalry. Just before the storms really hit, and in a rare break from thundering rain, Baby Wild and I spent a great morning exploring the private gardens of the Blair estate in Dalry. Besides being a great morning out and about for both of us, on a more selfish level I was keen to go and simply to see what grew locally, and steal ideas for my own wee garden. Having spoke...
a spoonful of sugar: A quiet spell
http://wisewordsforbaby.blogspot.com/2011/10/quiet-spell.html
A spoonful of sugar. Join the dots style parenting. Wise Words from Mama - The Book. Saturday, 1 October 2011. I've been channeling my creative energy into other avenues the past few weeks and haven't had any time for blogging. Which has given me a chance to reflect on the whole blogging and social media sphere too, and how much of my energy I can give to it. I do enjoy gathering my thoughts and finds together into a little portal of my own! For example - have you ever tried making your own medicine or c...

A spoonful of sugar. Join the dots style parenting. Wise Words from Mama - The Book. Tuesday, 1 November 2011. A few weeks ago I scrambled up an apple tree on the edge of the road near where I live and gathered these apples. They were quite sweet, but a bit battered by insects etc so I decided to make an apple tart. And then I got a little carried away with decorating it. 65279;I served it with some ice cream and my elderberry syrup. And it was really rather good. Shame it wasn't fat free. Seriously grea...

A spoonful of sugar. Join the dots style parenting. Wise Words from Mama - The Book. Sunday, 28 August 2011. The vikings have landed! We made it to Kelburn and we weren't disappointed! The Vikings were battling and the weather was kind. We spent a long time wandering through the Walled Garden, playing in the play fort and walking beside the waterfalls before we spent some time with the Vikings. If you're interested in the gardens, I'll be posting on that on my other blog. When I find a chance tomorrow.

Meet the Wild Ones. We’re Growing Wild. My name is Claire. I’m a great many things: Pinterest fanatic, compulsive online shopper and notable hypochondriac, but for the purposes of this blog, I’m mom to 2 wilder-than-wild-can-be boys, and one sweet baby girl. These are some of our adventures. Come splash in the puddles, swim in the sea and roll in the mud with us! 16 thoughts on “ We’re Growing Wild. What a great photo of you and your boys!
