Grow it, Buy it, Eat it!: Farmers Market Day and How They Regulate My Hamburger
http://growitbuyiteatit.blogspot.com/2009/08/farmers-market-day-and-how-they.html
Grow it, Buy it, Eat it! Blogging about food, from seed to supper and all points in between. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Farmers Market Day and How They Regulate My Hamburger. Bolting cilantro pictured above). Farmers Market Day This Season. I loved seeing and visiting with customers that we had the good fortune to make friends with last year, and to make some new friends, one of which was Daniel and his lovely family. Food friends are wonderful. Wondering what we took to market? I Just Want a Nice Burger.

Grow it, Buy it, Eat it! Blogging about food, from seed to supper and all points in between. Wednesday, July 15, 2009. I Love Hot Dogs. My Name is Matt and I Love Hot Dogs. I ate a hot dog that we had fixed earlier in the day. It had been in the fridge for several hours so, as one might guess, it was now cold and that’s how I ate it. It struck me odd, though, after I had eaten the cold hot dog that a cold dog is still referred to as a HOT DOG. Shouldn’t it be called a COLD DOG? Or what about jumbo shrimp?

Grow it, Buy it, Eat it! Blogging about food, from seed to supper and all points in between. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. The clock has struck 11:00 pm as I write this and it is truly the first time that we have stopped all day… and I have just been told I still have a clog in a downstairs sink to deal with- hooray! I can’t really put a finger on the moment that we lost control of our life here at the swamp farm, but I still have whiplash from being propelled from 0 to 6000 in no time at all! I’m just...

Grow it, Buy it, Eat it! Blogging about food, from seed to supper and all points in between. Friday, September 18, 2009. Dry, Dry, Dry. Man, Is It Ever Dry! It’s been awhile since I have blogged and to whom (if anyone) this disappoints, I am sorry. For those that may be thankful, you’re welcome. The baby chickens we hatched last spring are starting to mature now and have been laying about three eggs a day. This is very “eggciting” for us here at the farm with Sherry being darn near euphor...Well, the sun...
Grow it, Buy it, Eat it!: I'm Back!
http://growitbuyiteatit.blogspot.com/2010/03/im-back.html
Grow it, Buy it, Eat it! Blogging about food, from seed to supper and all points in between. Monday, March 22, 2010. Just like the little purple crocus flowers forcing their way to the sun this month defying the cold and the snow to announce to the world “we are alive and have made it through the icy grip of winter,” I, too, am shaking off the effects of another Indiana winter and am ready to blog. I know, it sounds good doesn’t it? People always forget about them and that they can be planted early.

http://oneofthosegardendaze.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 8, 2011. Sun, Sun, Sun, Here it comes! It's been a long time coming. Looking back now I see how significant and appropriate my last post would become as I longed for some sunlight in the midst of a long winter. There have been so many changes since I was last here. Best of all, I have a wonderful new son! Well, son-in-law to be exact, but we have wished for a son around here for so many years that we will call him son if his delightful parents don't mind! What else is new?

Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Spring Rolls in Summer. One of my favorite ways to use and eat fresh vegetables is spring rolls! I just love the taste bud sensation of cool rice paper wrappers crammed with a vibrant explosion of flavor. Since my garden is overflowing with radishes, snap peas, cilantro, and assorted greens, I can think of no better way to use them then this dish. It takes some time to chop and assemble but it's worth the effort. Spring rolls have become a regular craving for me. Tomatoes and sq...

garden daze: October 2007
http://oneofthosegardendaze.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 23, 2007. Nothing stays the same. Life is never ever. The same ole game. No sense in getting. Cozy in a favorite spot. For as sure as you do,. Your spot will be moved. Out from under you. And a child leaves home. And your left alone. A puppy moves in. And the cat runs away. Fresh paint for the walls. And boxed dye for the gray. Shouldn’t the garden have. Things in a garden seem. To age with great grace. To fret or pace. The wisdom of the ages. Is displayed in a lawn,. With hearty aplomb,.

Saturday, July 25, 2009. He Is Happiest Who. Some days the bugs can really get you down. I find this is especially true on long summer days when tomato hornworms demolish your best tomato plants and spider mites suck the life out of your lemongrass. Experienced gardeners learn over time not to take these attacks personally. They know that when one plant flounders another will jump in and flourish in its place. One of the most delightful gardens I have visited here is the Children's Garden at the Brooklyn ...

http://oneofthosegardendaze.blogspot.com/2009/06/how-does-your-garden-grow.html
Friday, June 19, 2009. How does your garden grow? I think this picture displays the magic of square foot gardening! Little do they know that anyone could do this with a tiny bit of planning and the right seeds. Tomatoes and squash are duking it out and the basil has been divine! The peas which didnt require staking are sure happy that they got some support anyhow! And I am finding myself dreaming about vegetables. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Grow It Back Now - Always Have The Thickest Hair In The Room
Grow It Back Now. It was the very end of eighth grade when I first noticed my thinning hair problem. Hair loss in eighth grade? Geez I noticed thinness on the very top and back of my head. By the end of the 9th grade, my entire head of hair was thin – diffuse hair loss. You could see through to my scalp except for the sides and the back – where hair typically lives forever. Not too cool for a young guy in his mid-teens. 8220;Always have the thickest hair in the room…”. But my favorites are Batiste. Well,...
