It's the most unclassy or pretty part of our house and yet it is often where you will find multiple members of our family at any given time. When we first moved into this house the kids were scared of the basement. They wouldn't go down there unless we were with them. For many months it went unused. But as they got used to the feel of the house and the space around them, they started to venture down. Well, and sleep too I guess.

Thursday, July 5, 2012. Mom, it's too hot.". The girls have actually been out in it in the morning time when the sun hasn't hit the deck yet and it has proven to be a nice distraction from the heat. We ventured to the city pool today and even that was warm. Like, too warm. But it was cooler than playing outside. And better than being inside. How do you beat the heat? So, no sitting in luke warm water. Bleh. Certainly not me when it's this hot out and I'm in my own backyard! Doesn't this look like fun?

Two years to grow has made a big difference for Ella Jane on the ice. She had a lot of confidence which helped her greatly. Thankful for winter, for our public ice rinks and kids who love skating. Friday, January 27, 2012. 90 minutes of sledding = loads of fun and one sore bum. We live on a hill. Well, our backyard is a hill. We don't like teeter on the top of a hill which is what that first sentence seems to imply to me. Fredag 16. november 2012. Myten om Høyre som barnehageparti. Høyre og Linda Hofstad Helleland har i lengre tid forsøkt å fremstille Høyre som barnehagepartiet. Hofstad Helleland kommer stadig på banen når det gjelder barnehageplasser, flere opptak i året osv. Sannheten er at Høyre aldri har vært barnehageforeldrenes beste venn. Da norske småbarnsforeldre ropte etter barnehageplasser, var Høyres svar kontantstøtte. Noe som førte til full stopp i barnehageutbyggingen. Forslag om å heve maksprissatsen.

En annen pasient er deprimert fordi han har vært arbeidsledig lenge. Han trenger egentlig ikke mestringskurset. Ved mistanke om psykose for eksempel bør det bare stå ”Kognitiv svikt” i journalen de første årene. Ved eventuell re-innleggelse kan det stå kognitiv svikt med tilbakefall.
