Services & Fees. Our marina is centrally located in Guysborough within walking distance of a bank, post office, pharmacy, library, bakery, accommodations, craft and antique shops, and several restaurants. Within 2km, you will find a liquor store, picturesque 9 hole golf course, grocery store, hardware store, heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, fitness centre, Trans Canada Trail as well as a hospital and RCMP Detachment. Enjoy our warm hospitality as you experience our recently restored waterfront.

Located half way between Halifax and Sydney on your way to Cape Breton, Guysborough Waterfront is just a short 25 minute drive off the Trans Canada Highway at exit 37 in Monastery or exit 40 in Aulds Cove. To navigate Guysborough Harbour, get a NEW. Copy of the Strait of Canso and Approaches Navigational Chart CL4335. Under Construction in 1902. In the Early 1900s. Founded in 1973, the Guysborough Historical Society is a non-profit, volunteer organization created to preserve the history of Guysborough County. In 1976 the Society restored the old Court House in Guysborough to create a community museum to exhibit objects that help illustrate the story of Guysborough County and its people, and accommodate a visitor information centre for tourists to the area.
