Hit the practice space recording studio at 1pm. eric brought 1 22oz of his first round of home brew, plus the Wilco Tango Foxtrot from lagunitas ( as seen on pitchfork. And Pliny The Elder. at 330pm arlene was kind enough to bring snacks, plus a few more stellaaaaa. Best.soccer practice.ever. Highlites of this week:. 1) went to sandy point reserve (major leatherback nesting beach, it was beautiful, of course). 2) my body is pretty much covered in mosquito bites. 3) kayaked salt river and saw some bioluminescence! 4) got to eat some amazing. Monday, October 20, 2008. Farewell st. croix. So im home now, i got in late saturday nite. i miss it already, i had an amazing time. i h. Ad a pretty fantastic last nite patrol. it started off with a beautiful sunset and our favorite gate guard was on duty at the hotel to see us off - soto, love that man! The sand sinks down where they emerge and creates a little depression and then you just see the ground pulse with baby turtles and its so incredible. i feel lucky to have seen it. the mo. Thursday, August 28, 2008. So i said the turtle i saw swimming was a hawksbill and im not sure why i said it (im. Gonna blame it on a turtle high, i was just so excited to see it i wasnt thinking straight) but it was actually a green. oops! Wont make that mistake again. Monday, September 22, 2008. Its been some rough nites at work lately, when we do go out. its been kinda stormy. Yesterday we went to a bbq at the nature conservancy. the interns stay in this really cool old building with a sweet kitchen. i was pretty jealous. and t.
