Josh Sheppard's Sketchblog: December 2011
http://joshsheppard.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Some of my good stuff. Wednesday, December 21, 2011. I'm Back To the Blog. After a year of neglect I am back to my sketchblog. Apologies to my seven fans! It has been a crazy year, with most of it on Robopocalypse. I also spent a month living in the hospital while my daughter endured two surgeries (everything is fine now). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Josh Sheppard's Sketchblog: September 2010
http://joshsheppard.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Some of my good stuff. Friday, September 24, 2010. Well, I have badly neglected this poor sketchblog, but the good news is that the last post did get me hired on Spielberg's new film Warhorse. So I spent a few months being forced to draw horses from my head! I can't show any of that work, but here are several horses in ink. Some from my head, a few I copied from Toth or Kubert. Mike drew this at lunch in about 30 seconds, directly with an old sharpee! Bookstore in Japantown, downtown Los Angeles.

Some of my good stuff. Sunday, January 8, 2012. A page from my sketchbook, that is from a short story I am adapting into a minicomic. I am sort of working slowly and in fragments, it seems. Josh Sheppard's Sketchblog: June 2009
http://joshsheppard.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Some of my good stuff. Friday, June 26, 2009. Here, in no particular order, are random images from several jobs I've done in the past year - these days everything is top secret, so I can't post whole sequences online until the film is released - often a year or two after I work on it. Bummer, because I now work 100% digitally, but my website samples are still all my old analogue stuff. Which way does 5th Ave. run? Can we actually get this shot? Which is tank work? This kind of VFX board can only be done ...
