Though I LOVE my family cookie recipes, sometimes the Pillsbury ready-to-bake dough does the trick. Sadie and I love to "Make some cookies" together. And no, sugar cookies don't need.

Monday, February 20. Over a year ago, I read a fun article in Real Simple (my fav mag) about how to host/have a Swap and Shop party. The objective: gather together with friends and all of their lovely stuff they no longer wear. Then trade (or "shop") for things that are new-to-you. Shopping? So, I picked a night, whipped up an eVite, and we were off. Last Thursday a fun group of girlies came over and snacked and shopped. Neiman Marcus it wasn't, but we had a great time of fellowship (while shopping).

During Spring Break, while Jason was home, we headed over to for Sadie's appointment. Salon Vintage, here in Tyler, where I get my hair coiffed too. Thursday, February 9. After a VERY long "break," this little blog is back. Ditched the DSL new cable connection = Ability to easily blog. Rather than play catch with hundreds (yes, hundreds) of pictures from the last months, let's just begin with today. We began with puzzles. Sadie likes to work each one, then break them up, mix them, and start again. After a little breakfast and some Peppa Pig (our new fav show), it was time for ballet. Of course, ballet. Sunday, January 3, 2010. View from the back door, go down some steps and there's the beach! Just down the beach we found this fallen tree, the girls loved playing with it! The girls before the luau, which was amazing! Looking down the beach from the house we are staying at, just perfect! Sunrise 10 feet from the back door, I think I could stay here forever! With our last full day left Ava has finally adjusted to the time difference! I have many many more pictures, but don't have the time to load them!
