WeeHavyn: May 2015
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The point is. they made the journey. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I love potatoes. I think a crispy baked potato smothered in real butter, shredded cheddar cheese, and hot wing sauce and liberally sprinkle. Weeds in the Window. It is a wet, gray November day in the Ozarks. Despite its gloomy appearance, the air is warm and mild, a little odd for this time of year. Long Planned but Finally Begun. How Much Do We Eat in Two Weeks?

WeeHavyn: June 2015
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. There is a "For Sale" sign in front of WeeHavyn today. Somehow that small sign makes my decision seem so much more real. It was put up while we were away and seeing it there sent a little shock up my spine, as if I had jumped into a cold pool on a hot day. This is happening! New home will do the same. I may gypsy about in my little home forever, or I may find that I wish to set down roots somewhere. I cannot know that if I do not try. What do I Need?

WeeHavyn: Sack of Potatoes
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2013/06/sack-of-potatoes.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Thursday, June 13, 2013. I love potatoes. I think a crispy baked potato smothered in real butter, shredded cheddar cheese, and hot wing sauce and liberally sprinkled with hot, crispy bacon pieces is a perfect meal. My ultimate comfort food is potatoes sliced thin and fried with bacon and onions. The heavenly aroma fills the house long before I get to dish up the crispy, brown potatoes making the wait an exquisite agony. So how many potatoes can you get from one plant? It has ...

WeeHavyn: How Much Do We Eat in Two Weeks?
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2012/08/how-much-do-we-eat-in-two-weeks.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. How Much Do We Eat in Two Weeks? Shopping is a habit. Even when we lived twenty miles out of town, we went to the store nearly every day for something. Of course, we would always come back with more than we'd planned to get in the first place. Millions of dollars are spent determining how to place things for an impulse buy, and I am just as susceptible to that psychology as anyone. What's left of the sugar. What do YOU think? WeeHavyn: Another Turning
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2015/04/another-turning.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Saturday, April 25, 2015. For many years, I've considered life a spiral. I can do the same things, go to the same places, but they're never really the same. I am different. I have grown and learned so many things that I cannot act just as I have in the past. I find fewer surprises in life now, but much more wonder. I carry WeeHavyn inside of me. WeeHavyn: Falling Off "The Wagon"
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2015/02/falling-off-wagon.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Falling Off "The Wagon". Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a seed junkie. I've been pretty good this year, limiting my time with seed catalogs and resisting the seed racks a Wal-mart (well.maybe one small packet of rosemary). I haven't even surfed Ebay for exotic seeds! All of that self control came crashing down last week. After a few days of lovely Spring-like weather, it snowed! How can anyone with imagination and faith that Spring will come resist?

WeeHavyn: New Arrivals
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2015/07/new-arrivals.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Even though the"For Sale" sign is out front, life continues at WeeHavyn. I made a deal on some Kinder goats two years ago and yesterday they came to live with us. Whether they are part of our lives for just a few days, or for much longer is undecided at this point. Some new obligations have cropped up in my life and I'm not so sure that I'll go a-gypsying just yet. September 8, 2015 at 10:06 AM. September 8, 2015 at 1:37 PM. What do YOU think? It is ...

WeeHavyn: Hybrid is Not a Dirty Word
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2015/01/hybrid-is-not-dirty-word.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Sunday, January 11, 2015. Hybrid is Not a Dirty Word. So if you're dying to try that new, super cool looking, purple cauliflower, don't let the fact that it's a hybrid put you off. Grow it anyway. Save the seed if you want. With a little persistence, you can name the results after your favorite relative. January 15, 2015 at 1:11 PM. Well said, Sherry! What do YOU think? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). WeeHavyn: Long Planned but Finally Begun
http://weehavyn.blogspot.com/2013/05/long-planned-but-finally-begun.html
A Tiny House in a Big World. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Long Planned but Finally Begun. For now, my embryonic fedge looks like nothing more than a curved row of straw held down by wire panels. The starts barely rise above the straw and one must look very closely to see the tiny green buds swelling against the smooth, buff colored stems. Soon the long slim leaves will uncurl and supple stems will stretch to the sun, waiting to be twined into whatever shape I can imagine for the fence. May 29, 2013 at 9:50 PM.
