Explore Hamilton: August 2009
http://explorehamilton.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 6, 2009. The thing about Confederation Park. Is that it is beautiful. Imagine if Lake Ontario was clean? The possibilities would be endless, at the very least I wouldn't have to drive over an hour to find a decent beach, it would all be right here in the Hammer. I've been away for a while, I went to Europe and focused on some other things.but the blog is back! Thanks to anyone who still checks back. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hamilton Review: Thanks, CANCON
http://hamiltonreview.blogspot.com/2008/07/thanks-cancon.html
Around town and beyond. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. While listening to the radio this morning, I came across two stations. Playing the same song at the exact same time. Both 102.1 The Edge and Hamilton's own Y108 were pumping out "That Song," a Big Wreck hit from 1997. I understand what the MAPL. Check out Let's Fix CANCON. A website devoted to overhauling current CRTC. To be fair, "That Song" was the cat's meow back in grade seven. July 9, 2008 at 6:09 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Hamilton Review: July 2008
http://hamiltonreview.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Around town and beyond. Monday, July 28, 2008. Side Notes: Work in Progress. 2) The Ti-Cats are heading to Montreal this week to battle the Alouettes. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm on Thursday evening. The team needs to make some serious moves over the next few weeks if they want a shot at an Eastern playoff berth, especially with a 1-4 record out of the gate. Just search "New Music Canada, Artists, Flashing Lights" on cbcradio. Saturday, July 12, 2008. Note: I was at IWS. Friday, July 11, 2008. 1) Some goo...

Hamilton Review: Mac News
http://hamiltonreview.blogspot.com/2008/07/mac-news.html
Around town and beyond. Thursday, July 10, 2008. I had an editorial published in the Silhouette this morning regarding Peter George's full contract and the message it sends to McMaster. Students. For those of you who aren't familiar with the fine details, you can view the contract here. If you're in the west end, grab a copy of the paper on campus. The content may not be posted online, so I'll run the full article on here if that's the case. . Also: Because it's so nice out today, here's a classic track.

Hamilton Review: June 2008
http://hamiltonreview.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Around town and beyond. Monday, June 30, 2008. The Hamilton Spectator ran another one of my articles this morning, which felt great. You can check it out here. And feel free to weigh in on the debate. Also, big news regarding the Lister Block. Apparently. Accepted a deal from city hall at the eleventh hour, and will finally begin work on the site. It will be interesting to see what becomes of the project, and what made Joe Mancinelli. Change his mind only hours before the window closed. Make no mistake, ...

Hamilton Review: May 2008
http://hamiltonreview.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Around town and beyond. Friday, May 30, 2008. I saw this quote in the View. Rants and letters, and thought it was worth posting. Friday May 23, 12:49 pm. Reusable coffee cups are the best solution, but in Hamilton the paper cups can be put into the green bin and the lids go into the blue box containers. Are public green bins around the city a good idea, or too hard to manage? I know one major deterrent. Thursday, May 29, 2008. Time for Light Rail? One of the NHL's. Overall by the Vancouver Canucks. On Ju...

Punkareux: Wedding drama...but no crying lately
http://punkareux.blogspot.com/2008/11/wedding-dramabut-no-crying-lately.html
Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Wedding drama.but no crying lately. Yesterday consisted of mailing invitations, picking up my dress, doing some alterations on it, forgetting (temporarily! My mother's birthday, working on my resume, my book, doing research for my book, doing research about wedding favours, updating my to-do lists and exercising because I can't fit into my dress. Ah This is the life. Anyone got any leads? Fortunately I haven't had my Monday break-down for a few weeks! Hm, Ellius wants me to po...

Punkareux: September 2008
http://punkareux.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 18, 2008. Sometimes it's unfortunate having grown up in a Christian home as it can deaden to you words, scriptures and theology that would otherwise blow your mind! That happened to me today when, after ashemedly watching 100 Huntley St., I realized, hey, I have 'freewill'. Everything I do or say is a choice. God doesn't coerce me into things, or manipulate (that's the proper name for coerce, isn't it? I've never thought about it that way. I want to lose weight- and I'm certain I'...

Punkareux: I'm a little bit ashamed of this post...
http://punkareux.blogspot.com/2008/11/im-little-bit-ashamed-of-this-post.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. I'm a little bit ashamed of this post. I've realized a crazy thing lately- well, for a while now. Yet, after almost a quarter of a century of habitual thinking patterns, it's hard to think in new ways. And that new way is that the Lord is always there- ready to pick up where I left off. I think there's a period of adjustment where sin is involved, but generally, the Lord is just waiting to pick things up again- like a long standing, long-distance friendship. You know what - i a...

Explore Hamilton: Tew's Falls
http://explorehamilton.blogspot.com/2007/09/tews-falls.html
Sunday, September 23, 2007. This place is GORGEOUS. I really can't say enough, you have to check it out for yourself. This sign is on the parking lot. You have to cross a darling little bridge to get to the falls. The park is really well taken care of, these observation podiums are great. Majestic view from the top. Ta-Dahh.the falls. Gorgeous. This is my favourite picture of this series. Such a beautiful day. Just wanted to mention keep up the fantastic work! Here is my webpage buy property. March 15, 2...
