Happily Holtsclaw: Changes...
http://happilyholtsclaw.blogspot.com/2015/05/changes.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. There are some big changes ahead for our little family. Big. Changes, but good. On Tuesday, April 7th, contracts were sent out to all employees in my school district for the 2015-2016 school year. That same evening I declined my contract (electronically), typed up a resignation letter, and gave it to my principal the very next day. The reason for resigning? To become a stay-at-home mom. But not one I'd want to do again anytime soon! It's pretty funny, this whole stay-at-home mom thi...

http://happilyholtsclaw.blogspot.com/2015/07/whats-going-on.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Well, I'll tell you! Matthew made it through his first week of orientation at his new job. And pretty much loved it (thank you, God)! He was very impressed with the company and is really excited to get started with his first night shift tonight(! We're praying for a smooth transition as all three of us adjust to his new schedule. We were finally able to get our new piano tuned (it needed it baaad). And while the piano tuner was here, this. And the LB ended up with a much needed ...
Happily Holtsclaw: November 2015
http://happilyholtsclaw.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 12, 2015. Due May 14, 2016! Excited for the newest little edition to the Holtsclaw family (and for the end of the 1st trimester ;). Wondered why I haven't updated the blog lately? With all the nausea and tiredness I've had no urge whatsoever to even get on here, let alone read other blogs like I always do. I took a blogging break during the first trimester of Luke's pregnancy. Too - so I don't feel quite as bad ;). Luke is going to make such a great big brother! I'm Windham. A wife...

But let's do a quick update on Baby Holtsclaw #2 while the toddler is napping and I've got a little bit of energy/motivation to type up a quick post (although I should. Be using that energy/motivation to load the dishwasher. it'll get done eventually ;). I'll be 19 weeks tomorrow and things have been great (love the 2nd trimester! How has it gone by so fast already? We brought Big Brother along with us to...
Happily Holtsclaw: Five Easy Slow-Cooker & One-Pot Meals {5 Faves}
http://happilyholtsclaw.blogspot.com/2015/07/five-easy-slow-cooker-one-pot-meals-5.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Five Easy Slow-Cooker and One-Pot Meals {5 Faves}. Cooking. It's not something I've ever. Been fond of. I never did much cooking (if any, really) growing up and never had much of a desire to start. Matthew, on the other hand, loves to cook and does a much. Can I just say, "Thank you, Jesus, for Pinterest! I needed lots of easy. Recipes available to me ASAP so I could feed my family something other than Hamburger Helper. and Pinterest has been my saving grace. Seriously. This mea...

One Year - Blessed Is She
https://blessedisshe.net/one-year
HOW YOU CAN HELP. Molly said it so well in today’s devotion. So it’s hard to reiterate any more than what she said, other than to be able to share with you some of the testimonies that have come from women who have incredibly beautiful things to say about this ministry, this community, and their relationship with God. Take it away, sisters. I LOVE being a part of Blessed is She. The readings and life-piercing reflections fill me up on the daily! I just wanted to say thank you for starting this community!

These are a few of my articles and thoughts about holistic health and lifestyle including therapies, nutrition and tasty recipes. I am out to shatter the myths that healthy food must be bland, unappealing or difficult to make. Life is too short to eat birdseed! I want parents to feel empowered to take care of the health of their children and children to understand that the food they eat creates their body anew every day. Sunday, May 24, 2009. This is not a diet book. Even though in publishing terms i...

Surviving the Suburbs
Reviews of "Surviving the Apocalypse .". Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Heating with Wood Q&A. Fellow blogger, Mavis Butterfield, is moving to New England. Since New England gets a lot colder than over there on the other side of the continent during the winter, she had a few questions about heating with wood. As a decade-long veteran of heating and living with wood heat, I (naturally) had some answers. Mavis: Is it really practical to heat an entire home with wood heat? Mavis: How about a tea kettle? Mavis:...

Raising BABIES / creating a HOME / attempting to COOK DINNER. I have to confess this is my first attempt at blogging, or even sitting down to write about my life passions . Although writing isn’t one of them, I am very excited to launch this blog. However, you will have to ignore my horrible grammar and punctuation errors. English was NOT my strong subject in school. About me / I am a 27 year old believer in the one and only JESUS CHRIST! I am so thankful for His grace and sacrifice to save me!
