Turn The Page: Leaf Shadow
https://turnthepage25.blogspot.com/2014/02/leaf-shadow.html
Tuesday, February 4, 2014. While wandering out and about after another snow dump, I came across this dangling maple leaf hanging on for dear life with the help of a friendly spider web. It made me pause to think of the beautiful autumn that gave in to old man winter, which is providing yet more beauty for those of us who love to partake in the conversations out of doors with the universe. Tune in.the universe is having a convo with all of us! We are connected.and it's simply divine! Tessa Here there be m...

Friday, November 14, 2014. Universal Language of The Setting Sun. My last sunset at Waikiki.awesome! Since I have returned from my journey to the island paradise of Hawaii, I haven't fully retrieved all of the zillion photos I took on many devices during my stay with my "bruddah" and other family members. And since I always enjoy the wonderful island shares from my new friend Cloudia of Comfort Spiral. I thought I would share a few of my own for Skywatch Friday. 8213; Lao Tzu. Lisa @ Two Bears Farm.

Turn The Page: Coming Home
https://turnthepage25.blogspot.com/2014/10/coming-home.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. Nothing is worth more than this day". Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. I have been absent from blogland, so that I may honor my Mother in a very unique way by carrying her heart and soul back to her island paradise of Hawaii. It has been many years since she left the islands, before the commercialism and tourism took hold, and before Hawaii even became a state. Even though Mama passed away many years ago, she was with me, and I know in my heart that she is happy and resting in peace.

Turn The Page: Gratitude in the Snow

Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Gratitude in the Snow. 8220;I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual. It is surprising how contented one can be with nothing definite — only a sense of existence. ”. 8211; Henry David Thoreau. December 1, 2014 at 3:13 PM. Lovely post - and thats a fabulous photo. I feel like I have so much to be grateful for, simply with each breath. Thoreau really knew what he was talking about didnt he? December 1, 2014 at 3:25 PM. I just love this quote!

Turn The Page: Morning Has Broken
https://turnthepage25.blogspot.com/2014/11/morning-has-broken.html
Saturday, November 15, 2014. Yes, the last of Autumn has met the first dusting of snow from Old Man Winter, and every bit of 22 degrees was felt this glorious morn. TRIPLE C kind of morn. CRISP, CLEAN AND CCCOLD! How sweet to greet the sun and the moon at the same time, from my backwoods, with the last leaf on this tree clinging, clinging. Oh, to live in the country! Gratitude in abundance has rewarded me this fine day. November 15, 2014 at 1:35 PM. December 1, 2014 at 2:44 PM. I read, I write, I create!

Turn The Page: Hope Springs Eternal
https://turnthepage25.blogspot.com/2014/03/hope-springs-eternal-with-end-of-my.html
Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Hope Springs Eternal (with the end of my store bought tulips). The thermometer says 28, but those 40 mph winds tell a different story of that 28 degrees. The weatherman says, 28, but it feels like 16.well yes, it does, and worse, as that cold wind blows right through to the bone. But, last week we had this for one whole day.the beginnings of the great thaw! I can see over the mountain of snow in my front yard now. This muddy mess is frozen over again.but soon!

Turn The Page: July 2014

Monday, July 14, 2014. Going back in time.to the day when LP/Vinyl records were the only way to listen to jams is very gratifying. (No, I'm not even going near the 8-track phase). Especially since I saved most of my vinyl and still have a turntable. To listen to them. Well, all I could do is smile, because it's what I used to listen to and it's not a bad album. Though, as the mama, I could've done without the "born to be wild" comment. George had the first number one hit in the U.S. with 1970s "M...And c...

Friday, November 8, 2013. We GEEK Art and Lou Reed. Rest in peace, Lou.no doubt resting on the Wild Side and having a Perfect Day! I was fortunate enough to take part in this GEEK THE LIBRARY campaign that featured Lou Reed as one of the celebrity endorsers. I have my Lou poster proudly displayed in my own art studio. I was also fortunate enough to see Lou many, many moons ago live at the Roxy Theater on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood with my childhood BFF. Thinking of you, Nay Nay! QUOTE OF THE DAY.
