Carl was abandoned by his mother who was a drug user and has lived with his grandmother since the age of 2. The client’s grandmother (who is his legal guardian) brought concerns to the organisation about her grandson’s inappropriate sexual behaviour towards a young family member. This disclosure led to a child protection issue and Changes informed the duty care team immediately.

Clients have to live in the Hartlepool Area. Must be between the ages of 4 and 19 (although we also are able to provide therapy for any ages as long as the person is a family member of a client attending our service).
