South Family Dwelling House and Wash House. The Shaker Meetinghouse originally located to the north of the present site. They raised the frame June 8, 1791, in reverent silence. Clara Endicott Sears said, “The raising of the Meetinghouse was accomplished in one night, that time being chosen so that the eyes of the world might not see the process which was looked upon as a sacred rite.” The ministry moved in. Comprises 12 remaining Shaker Structures, a burial ground, and the Holy Hill of Zion, where outdoor worship once took place. There are wonderful trails and many acres of conservation land. Harvard University Sigma Chi. The Kappa Eta Chapter originally began as a Harvard fraternity named Eta Sigma Chi, which was founded in 1989. Chartered on May 2, 1992 by Sigma Chi International. The Kappa Eta Chapter is the oldest continuously active fraternity at Harvard University.
