All our cider products are made on the farm with apples harvested from our own organic orchards. This provides instant traceability and enables us to guarantee the quality of each product. In 2002 we established our own herd of Pedigree Horned Hereford cattle, a local breed native to the county, which thrives on our long-established rich pasture. Unlike imported continental breeds, we do not need to provide extra feed, and so the diet of our herd is only supplemented in winter by hay from our own fields. Traditional managed in this way, Hereford cattle produce the finest beef for which ‘Olde England’ was justifiably famous. Ashgrove Farm, Marden, Herefordshire.
