Simply Claysey: 15 years later...
http://claysey.blogspot.com/2015/05/15-years-later.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2015. So I dug out one of my scrapbooks from my senior graduation trip with my Mimi and cousin to Turkey and Greece. Apparently I had documented every morsel of food that entered my mouth. These journal entries really did my heart good - I was in need of some laughter! Coming from a shy, never-traveled-or-flown-before young girl, it was humorous to read the descriptions of the plane dimensions or the amenities on the cruise ship. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I enjoy making crafty.

The Current State of Things 3. From Trips To Decisions. Interesting factors play into how I get here. First Vidor’s missions strategy had been supporting a missionary in Central Asia for some time, but due to some conflicts, the missionaries had to relocate and that complicated the partnership. There was however a. We landed in Brazil and. There it was again. Most of it is documented here. A couple major things happened on this trip. They are as follows:. To make this card, I:. 1) Cut 4 pieces of. Pale orange, orange, white, and sky blue). 2) Stamped white circles for a little background pattern onto the orange card. 3) Secured all four card stock pieces with adhesive to hold them together. 4) Cut out light blue clouds and yellow sunshine and glued down. Simply Claysey: Being Free from Fear
http://claysey.blogspot.com/2014/08/being-free-from-fear.html
Saturday, August 30, 2014. Being Free from Fear. There are so many types of fear. I'm an anxious, scaredy-cat type of person. I didn't ride a roller coaster until I was 18. When I was 15 or so, I freaked out about taking a family business trip to Hawaii because that would include taking an airplane ride. (And guess what - we didn't go). At times, fear paralyzes me. Yes Did I want to listen to His command to go? Several evenings I would just sit and listen to one of my favorite artists, Matt Papa, sing ab...

Simply Claysey: A Sweet, Little Momma
http://claysey.blogspot.com/2014/09/a-sweet-little-momma.html
Monday, September 1, 2014. A Sweet, Little Momma. I am a firstborn. Thankfully, my parents decided to have other children so that I could boss them around, micro-manage their lives, and tattle on them when needed. I have always taken my big sister role to the extreme I guess. I remember the pink and white doll I was holding as my Grandma Eva came to my big living room in Groves and said the babies were on their way! Then, next thing you know - my parents are moving to another continent to begin serving a...

Simply Claysey: Why I Pack Shoeboxes
http://claysey.blogspot.com/2013/11/why-i-pack-shoeboxes.html
Thursday, November 7, 2013. Why I Pack Shoeboxes. Each year since I can remember, I've spent October planning to pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes through Samaritan's Purse. Over 100 million boxes have been sent to children in over 130 countries. This number excites me and encourages me to participate year after year. I wanted to share what I put in 2 of my boxes this year to give you an idea of how you can pack so much into a little package! Here are the items I included in a 5-9 year old BOY box:.

Simply Claysey: Canvas Collage
http://claysey.blogspot.com/2011/06/canvas-collage.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. I've got to be the world's most terrible blogger! It's so easy for me to get tied up with things and totally neglect updating. I'm hoping to learn how to be better at that. The truth is, the past few weeks have been so incredibly busy, I've been forgetting things left and right! The children are enjoying it, so that makes me happy :). I plan on getting back into the swing of things next week, but I did want to share a fun project with you. I printed 5 or 6 square (1.75"x1...
