Turning 54 | forethought...afterthought...
https://forethoughtafterthought.wordpress.com/2014/09/23/turning-54
September 23, 2014. I always look forward to my birth date and the New Year. I symbolically close a chapter in my life during this two occasions, the simple act of consciously changing the page of the calendar becomes a ritual. But no, I haven’t seen everything. I am just how many steps in experiencing the real world and seeing new things which for sure were there all the time but I failed to see. How many red flags have I ignored? How many wrong decisions and moves have I made? Starting a new chapter.

GAEA'S KITCHEN: SALT

Food for body and soul. Thursday, September 2, 2010. E-mail this poem to e friend. Send this poem as eCard. Add this poem to MyPoemList. In the salt cellar. I once saw in the salt mines. Salt sings, the skin. Of the salt mines. With a mouth smothered. I shivered in those. The salt moans, mountain. Of buried light,. Crystal of the sea, oblivion. And then on every table. In the world,. We see your piquant. Holds of ships,. The high seas,. Of the unknown, shifting. Byways of the foam. Dust of the sea, in you.

GAEA'S KITCHEN: October 2010
http://gaeaskitchen.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Food for body and soul. Friday, October 29, 2010. Is it asking too much by wishing for a world where everyone will go back to eating naturally grown produce? How long will I able to buy ingredients without anxiety and stress that what I am buying could be an equivalent to a lethal injection? Will the future generation still be able to EAT real food and not just drink shakes made of ingredients I could not pronounce or spell? Will food still be able to comfort and heal? The Suffering Woman | forethought...afterthought...

June 21, 2014. Never underestimate a woman who is suffering. Who seems to be making risky choices. She is deep in lesson. She is visiting the underground,. She is making sense of life in some invisible way. The fragmentation in her life could be a precursor. To a new resurgence. She could well stun you with some home truths. One Response to “The Suffering Woman”. June 21, 2014 at 11:58 am. This happens to men also…. Just by the way! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Http:/ healthyponde...

Tapestry of experiences, places, people and events. Saturday, May 31, 2014. Revisiting the Sacred Spaces of My Grandparents. I know my grandparents are connecting with me whenever I see butterflies and when I remember scenes from my late grandparents' kitchens, library and gardens. Weeks before mama's death, she snapped out of her Alzheimer condition, she called me and pointed to a locked shelf in the library. There I found her recipe notebooks (some in my own penmanship) and old recipe books. May...One s...
