Cot quilts for the Special Care Baby Unit at Frimley Park Hospital. The quilts brighten up the unit and help to make it feel less clinical. When discharged, parents take baby and quilt home. The quilt hung in pride of place at our Exhibition in April 2012, before going to a very lucky winner. The quilt was designed and long-arm quilted by Yvette Ness, www.needle-and-thread-online.co.uk. Yvette presenting the cheque to Ernest Blake from Phyliss Tuckwell Hospice. 1st prize Double bed quilt. 2nd Prize lap quilt - using additional blocks, made by Yvette.

Heather Quilters was formed in 1987 - the page heading shows a part of the Signature Quilt made by members at that time. The first newsletter was produced in 1989 and makes interesting reading.
