http://celluloidhut.blogspot.com/2007/12/celluloid-hut-is-open.html
Wednesday, December 26, 2007. THE CELLULOID HUT IS OPEN. Blog will be the fourth such blog I’ve helmed, each devoted to some obsessive corner of my psyche, each documenting new discoveries and old favorites, all the while aiming to convert any readers I might have into consumers of ephemera that I deem worthy of consumption. This one will be devoted to film. I currently pen another blog called HEDONIST BEER JIVE. Which lasted well over three years. Which barely cleared a year. Do that too. I’ll...First, ...

Celluloid Hut: “BLAME IT ON FIDEL”
http://celluloidhut.blogspot.com/2008/02/blame-it-on-fidel.html

But when you have bearded, newly-indoctrinated left-wingers frantically making pamphlets and mooning about. Posted by Jay H. Subscribe to: Post Com...

http://freshbeereveryfriday.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Fresh Beer Every Friday. My journey in life through beer. Friday, February 25, 2011. In the past, when deciding what to brew, I fought against an urge to brew what I really wanted (IPA! To try other styles. For example, the beer that became 2Wicky (a French-style Black Saison with Star Anise, Grains of Paradise and molasses) started out as a standard Saison with just 2 oz of Apricot flavoring so you'd think "Huh? 50 lbs 2-Row Malt. 50 lbs Pilsner Malt. 05 lbs CaraVienne Malt. 20 lbs Demerara sugar. The l...

Fresh Beer Every Friday. My journey in life through beer. Friday, December 16, 2011. Black Sabbath - Paranoid. However, when you're using 24 pounds of grain, your efficiencies tend to go down the toilet. So I got a 10% beer, which really isn't too bad. Considering I was two years into brewing, it turned out pretty good. I "dry-beaned" it with 4 ounces of coffee beans. I won't do that again, as I think the coffee becomes more astringent as time goes on. Black Sabbath – Paranoid. Batch Size (Gal): 3.00.

Fresh Beer Every Friday. My journey in life through beer. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Project: The Hold Steady Beers. But no, I am drawn to brew black lagers. Dunkelweizens, and Saisons. Try going to your local grocery store and buying a case of a dark wheat beer. It ain’t happening. So I read, and I start to think, and the thinking becomes 5 gallons of beer that I am glad I made, but not necessarily something I’m excited about drinking. Well, let me know if you’re interested. 8 lbs American 2-Row. Well, I...
