March 10, 2011. So, the blog has suffered the consequences of a long, cold, boring Chicago winter. In an attempt to redeem myself, here is a brief synopsis of what has happened since.Halloween. Reese's 15-month stats: 20 lbs 6 oz, 30 1/4 in. She recognizes the nurse at the office and freaks out immediately upon seeing her. Reese and I fly home to Chicago with Reese in her very own seat. Not much happening. Reese becomes obsessed with snacking, bead necklaces, and dressing herself. Cold. Do What you Like.

An homage to, ME! Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Was speaking with a woman today who is raising her granddaughter and having a hard time of it. Kudos to you, by the way.). But then, she told me her granddaughter has ADHD, ADD and ODD. I say; "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with ODD. What is it? Obedience, Defiance, Disorder. It's very serious, and there is no cure.". Lady, you mean you actually paid an f* *ing co-pay to a Dr's Office to be fed that line of BS? There is a cure:. Rinse Repeat if Necessary.

October 5, 2011. Yes, I know she turned 2 over a month and a half ago. Despite that fact, here are some details. We had a mini-celebration toward the end of our Utah trip. My girl LOVES the song "Old McDonald," (you can often catch her screaming "E-I-E-I-O.sheep. E-I-E-I-O.cow. Etc, etc. at the top of her lungs) so I made her a barn cake complete with animal cupcakes. She was as excited about it as I had hoped she would be! She insisted on eating one of each kind, frosting only. 24 pounds, 34 inches.

Sunday, November 9, 2008. This was the Vietnam memorial. It has all of the soldiers names that were killed in the war on this wall. It also is symbolic. It starts really small with one or two names of people that died, and then the wall gets bigger and bigger as the war went on. Then the wall started getting smaller toward the end of the war. This is the Lincoln memorial. Way cool! It has Lincoln's most famous speeches engraved on the walls. A turtle we found in the road at Gettysburg with my cute dad!

Monday, July 14, 2008. Bryce and I just had our two years anniversary on July sixth! Bryce told me we had plans on Saturday night but he said it was a surprise. We got in the car and he took me up to Logan to Firehouse Pizza. I have been craving that place forever! If you haven't been there, you've gotta go there and try their Ph'zookie!
