Creation for His Glory. Part of this change was for Lindsay to quit her dream job of teaching choir and move into taking up the cause of the fatherless as commanded in Isaiah 1:17 full-time. Lindsay is now working with an amazing para-church organization called World Orphans where she serves as a Project Manager for Central America. You can read more about her ministry here. I’m dedicated to creating for His glory and passionate about using my creations to impact global missions. Creation for His Glory.

Paperworking, Learning, & Thanking. Aug 3, 2015. We’ve been rolling along with the adoption journey so we thought we’d type up a quick update. Good news…we got a letter saying we’re not criminals! That’s a relief. Yesterday (Saturday), we went to a seminar at UAB hosted by the International Adoption Clinic. It was sssoooooo educational. Like, how do people even adopt internationally without going through a seminar like this? And those are just developmental issues! Y’all…we have been totally ...It’...

I’m standing there, wide eyed, not sure if I should be relieved yet, wondering what in the world just happened. And just like that, the...

Our Adoption Story | Taking Up the Cause

On that first mission trip, we visited Rwanda and Ethiopia, and in both countries we visited orphanages and other orphan care ministries. Before and during our time there, our constant prayer was that God would break our hearts for what breaks his. And boy did He ever! They had never held a Bible in their hands, and they did not know that they were created and loved deeply by a God who would send His only Son to die for them so they might live. These kids didn’t know a love like that. They didn’t...She s...

Lindsay’s Ministry | Taking Up the Cause

In the summer of 2012, my husband and I felt called to go on a mission trip to Africa. We found a trip to Rwanda and Ethiopia that focused on serving orphans, and we knew it was the one God wanted us to go on. What a life-changing trip that was. Our prayer was that God would break our hearts for what breaks His, and He answered that prayer. I am honored that World Orphans has brought me on staff as Project Manager for the Americas. I will be overseeing projects that ensure the holistic care of orphan...
