Last week we set a goal of reaching a local park that's about 4 miles away but didn't quite make it. The route includes an arching bridge over the freeway and it's a pretty big hill. Preparation of this wonderful dish was interrupted by a trip to the urgent care because I was stupid enough to not use the food guard. :-(. When preparation was complete, we added some vegan "meat"-balls to the recipe, zucchini ribbons with raw tomato marinara. And had ourselves a wonderful dinner. Originally uploaded by somegoodgoing. Sunday, March 9, 2008. We decided to take advantage of the snow and have some fun! Fortunately K made me call around before we headed out the door. We called ELEVEN stores before we found one that had sleds. When we got there it didn't look like they were going to have sleds for very long either. We picked up a couple of sleds and headed for the sledding hill at Scioto Park. All of the local news stations were feverishly talking about. Hat, mittens, scarf, long johns. We felt like kids again!

Monday, July 28, 2008. Well, after 9 months, we have run off 60 pounds (about 30 each) wearing these old sneakers. We decided it was time to get new ones. Go team! RIP Ron Ashton - An original Stooge. Just found out that Ron Ashton, guitarist for Iggy and the Stooges, was found dead yesterday. For me, Ron's shining moment was not on guitar, but on bass.
