The only rust was where the factory welded in support plates on the bottom of the floor pan in the inside seat brackets. Where did that door sill go? Both sides were missing about 20% of the door sill. Made entry and egress a bit of a safety concern. Fortunately the door sill is one of the easiest pieces to remove from the car. I'd say the paint job is a 8 out of 10, excellent for the price I paid (after colour sanding it will be a 10). Nine days later the car came out Pheonix Red, picking the colour was tough, mainly because the 914 looks pretty good in any bright colour. Here is what you get after colour sanding, these pictures are of the same rear fender, now you can read a book in the reflection.
