Helping Henry the Son-Rise program: January 2010

http://helpinghenry.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 26 January 2010. Update - sorry it's been so long! Firstly, sorry it's been so long since we did a post but hopefully you've all kept up with things on Facebook. Henry continues to amaze us everyday and is such a fun-loving sweet little boy who loves to be with people and make 'friends' whenever he goes to the park or play area. We had a great Xmas and Henry loved opening every single present - and then wanted to open mine too! But a great achievement anyway for him to even go in the room. We al...

Helping Henry the Son-Rise program: New helpers & toilet training!

http://helpinghenry.blogspot.com/2009/10/new-helpers-toilet-training.html

Tuesday, 20 October 2009. New helpers and toilet training! We've had two new paid helpers start recently - Victoria and Mel who have both had experience working with other Son-Rise families in the UK. Mel has also been to the Option Institute in the USA (the home of Son-Rise) and spent a couple of months working there. So it's great that Penny hasn't had to spend a lot of time training them - just giving them helpful feedback coping with Henry's little ways. Just like Penny in fact!

Helping Henry the Son-Rise program: Busy week ahead

http://helpinghenry.blogspot.com/2009/09/busy-week-ahead.html

Monday, 28 September 2009. We've got a busy week ahead but it's all good! We are seeing a potential facilitator on Wednesday who has been working with a Son-Rise family in Liverpool and is now moving back to the area - so very excited about that possibility. Then on Thursday with have Sarah Dargue coming to work with us for the day and give us lots of great advice and feedback - always a great day. We are also seeing somebody else on Monday - so it's all looking good :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sunday, 27 September 2009. Hello and welcome to the Helping Henry blog. I've set this blog up so we can easily post everything to do with our program instantly instead of Penny having to send it to me and then drop it into a webpage and upload it. Hopefully you will see more posts from Penny now and diary updates here! Thanks for all your support. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Our Fantastic Volunteer Bridget. Hello and welcome to the Helping Henry blog.

Helping HELP 4 MB. Monday, October 26, 2009. To Myrtle Beach Voters . VOTE OUT those who only represent the narrow interests of the privileged few who live in a 28-brock area on the North End. Helping Helpless Children

Helping Helpless Children does just that. We go to the poorest places, and do whatever we can to help children in the greatest need. Whether it's planting a garden, building a fish farm, helping a single mother with AIDS start a small business, or bringing clothes and school supplies to girls living on a garbage dump.we do it all! We find the kids that have fallen through the cracks, have been orphaned and abandoned and help them get the tools and skills they need to get out of poverty. Dr Joseph has wor...

Helping Henry

Setting up the PlayRoom. Recruiting & Training volunteers. Responding to a statement. Henry’s first 3 weeks at School. Hi I’m Henry and I have Autism. This website was set up in 1998 by Henrys mum and dad to share Henry’s journey with our friends and family when we began the Son-Rise Program home teaching course. To give Henry a better quality of life and a brighter future. Just one little note that’s really important for us to say:. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Making the good bigger.
