Friday, October 24, 2014. Horses, Parade, Grandparent Visit, etc! This summer it was so fun to have Sophia really reach a place of independence on horseback. We enjoyed so many beautiful trail rides around our home! August 1st Sophia's good friend Finley came and we had our first sleepover experience. it was a late and super fun night! After playing princess all the girls went out on the horses for an evening ride. Finley got to march in the parade with us! Sophia had a blast waving to everyone! The next...

Friday, February 21, 2014. A short movie of Sophia's life! Sophia's class is celebrating her "Dia de Estrella," or her day to be the star, on Monday, and so I made a short movie celebrating her life. Take a peek! Depending on the mood I'm in this video makes me really happy or makes me feel like bawling. I may be biased, but I'm pretty sure Sophia is an exceptionally sensitive, lovely, amazing little person! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is my blog. Fargo, ND, United States. Monday, July 21, 2014. Maplewood Trail Riding Date! Travis' parents took the girls on Friday. Then after work I ran home and we dressed upand then hit the Fargo street fair with NO kids in tow! After that we went to a burger joint called Sickie's Garage (they sub a veggie burger). SO good! They make all kinds of crazy burgers. I had a "jalapeno popper" burger with jalapenos, a sweet chili sauce and a cream cheese spread. YUM! Starting out on a beautiful, wooded trail. There were lots of open, rolling hil...

still the flowers grow: April!!

Still the flowers grow. Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Gearing up for baseball season! Wearing one of Joseph’s sweatshirts and boots, plus the pink leggings. Kills me. Just after holding his hand up in victory. I never seem to be able to get the right timing to document that. Coach consulting. This was a good day for Joseph and I think having the coach- who is AWESOME in such a calm but fun, respectful and hardworking way—on his mat really helped Joseph. . Then we colored eggs and made a bigggggg mess.

Better now then never though! 160; Also, again, it’s a birth story, so expect some yuckyness. And it’s me, so lots of detail shouldn’t surprise you. To me these moments are incredibly precious and my primary aim in recording them is preserve as much of the memory as possible for me and my family. Here is Part 1. And to get out of there. . I was close...

Still the flowers grow. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Joseph’s Spongebob Bday Party. Obviously, I am very tardy in posting this. I don’t know how all you super on-time bloggers do it! 160; I wont spend a lot of money on crappy prepackaged stuff, but I’ll give it a shot. (I still like to think I’ll be able to avoid all the princess-ish stuff with Nora, but see that it’s just as likely I’ll eat those words too). To let go of the perfect idea I had in my head, but really ended up working out well! 160; (Last ye...

Still the flowers grow. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. End of 2014; beginning of 2015. 160; He didn’t ski at all last year because we were so busy with hockey. This year hear I convinced him not to do hockey again by saying he could ski or skate, but not both. He really seems to enjoy skiing a lot. It was incredible freezing most of the times he skied though, so not many pictures. A little skating adventure too. (These are all out of order…). A little excursion on to frozen Fern Lake at our camp. Here she i...

Trying to be just like brother! Dragging her up the hill. Awww Brad’s dressed like a hobbo, but they are still all super cute. Santa comes to Middlebury. Train exhibit at Sheldon Museum. Waiting to visit Santa—the girls (we ditched Nora with Grandma for all this excitement). And the boys—thanks Tanner. Trying to do right.

Still the flowers grow. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. All dressed up for his holiday concert! 160; He actually picked all this out himself and I just can’t believe it. Such a sign of growing up. Every holiday concert previously I have had to fight with him and force him to get dressed up. This time he seemed to like getting fancy! 160; How things change. First and second grade performing. . Nora in her outfit the GG (great-grandma) picked out for her in Philly. Still one of our favorite outfits! She was...
