The (nearly) final tally on my bike commute this year: 2,044 miles since I started in early April. And if I do my minimum rides on the six days of work I have left this year after returning from vacation, that figure will rise to 2,080 miles. Monday marks one year of my start bike commuting. In the past 365 days, I've put 2,898 miles on my bike, which is roughly the distance between Portland and NYC. Not bad.
