Think we'll head off to Ingomar Fire Hall breakfast today, maybe do a little birding, etc along the way. Should be a good time of the day to hit Round Bay and Roseway Beaches. Never know where we will end up. Making no great plans. Sooner or later we'll get back home and then it will be time to get ready for the work week ahead. He was lovely with his little velvet. Not going to be a lot of changes this weekend to get out birding. Have to tackle groceries sometime today, a few other errands. I've got to help out at our Community Hall this morning, then we are making a quick trip to Yarmouth. The utility trailer that Larry wants is finally on sale. Joy, Joy now he'll have room to haul more junk. Must be a man thing! Doesn't sound like I'm going to get much birding in today. Friday turned out to be a pretty darn good day! Nothing like the simple daisy.

Growing up in drafty houses meant that we always had door snakes or draft stoppers by our exterior doors. They were pretty standard fair. Long tubes filled with fabric and placed in front of the door to stop the winter chill. So I made a log. A door log. The design was inspired by the Yule Log. And a inch worm. We checked out The Stubborn Goat Gastropub on Grafton Street. T was busy for a Thursday night, but we found a table upstairs. There is an extensive craft beer menu that includes.
