Cruising With Florence: It's Drafty, so I'm getting Crafty
http://cruisingwithflorence.blogspot.com/2015/01/its-drafty-so-im-getting-crafty.html
There are so many places to go in Nova Scotia. So hop in our classic car and come for ride! Monday, 19 January 2015. It's Drafty, so I'm getting Crafty. Growing up in drafty houses meant that we always had door snakes or draft stoppers by our exterior doors. They were pretty standard fair. Long tubes filled with fabric and placed in front of the door to stop the winter chill. So I made a log. A door log. The design was inspired by the Yule Log. And a inch worm. Don't you love the vintage purse I found?

http://cruisingwithflorence.blogspot.com/2014/07/hurricane-arthur.html
There are so many places to go in Nova Scotia. So hop in our classic car and come for ride! Wednesday, 9 July 2014. Hurricane Arthur paid us a visit over the weekend. By the time it arrived, it had been downgraded to a Tropical Storm. But what a storm! It sure packed a punch. There were some pretty hairy gusts with wind speeds of 140 km. We lost 4 or 5 really large branches from our maple trees. There are branches, sticks and leaves all over the lawn. Shelburne is a town with a lot of old trees. After sp...

There are so many places to go in Nova Scotia. So hop in our classic car and come for ride! Monday, 30 June 2014. A while ago, we took the family to Halifax for a change of scene. We checked out The Stubborn Goat Gastropub on Grafton Street. T was busy for a Thursday night, but we found a table upstairs. There is an extensive craft beer menu that includes. Shelburne's locally brewed Boxing Rock Beer. The children had Lobster Mac-n-cheese and Pizza. High praise from a youngster. Meet Coco the Hamster.
