Tourism and Marketing Corporation. To unite marketing efforts at the local level, the eight tourist promotion agencies (TPAs) representing all 12 counties in the region formed the Pennsylvania Wilds Tourism Marketing Corporation in 2005. The Corporation was established through a regional marketing grant from the Pennsylvania Tourism Office, housed in DCED, and matched with local contributions from the participating TPAs. Our charge is to preserve, relate, and enhance the history and heritage of the people and their relationship with the Pennsylvania Forests.
