Heritage Quilts: February 2009
http://heritagequilts.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
The meanderings of a wife, mom and quilter. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Clocks, Clocks and more Clocks! A couple of years ago, DH decided to take a clock repair class at the local community college. He was looking for something to piddle on during the long winter evenings when it gets too dark to work outside. Little did I know what a path this would lead us down. This is the clock. Isn't it beautiful? What a wonderful path we have traveled down together. Loving the old stuff,. Monday, February 9, 2009.
Heritage Quilts: July 2009
http://heritagequilts.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
The meanderings of a wife, mom and quilter. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Where have I been? I can't believe that I haven't posted since May. I guess that summer time has me on the run more than expected. Work has also been crazy for some strange reason. Several things have kept me away from the computer. I have been teaching some quilt classes, a little bit of gardening, vacation, trying to get caught up on my long arm customer quilts and the lose of my dear mother-in-law. Meanderings by Heritage Quilter.
Heritage Quilts: Catching up
http://heritagequilts.blogspot.com/2010/03/catching-up.html
The meanderings of a wife, mom and quilter. Thursday, March 11, 2010. Life has happened. Here's a little summary. After the death of my mother-in-law last July, life really changed. We spent more time with the father-in-law keeping him company and making sure he was well taken care of. January found us taking the kids to Walt Disney World for the first time. I highly recommend the Wilderness Lodge. AWESOME is the only word to describe this resort hotel. Yep, we are ready to go back. I lost my father in D...

The meanderings of a wife, mom and quilter. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. I did buy a few things, but nothing to show just yet. Here are a few pics of quilts from the show. Sorry, I don't have names. This was another little cutie.each quilt had a color coordinated pin holding on the label. I just love little YO-YO's. Don't you? Meanderings by Heritage Quilter. March 31, 2009 at 1:53 PM. Love those tag holders, they're clever! Thanks for the virtual show! March 31, 2009 at 3:27 PM. March 31, 2009 at 9:41 PM.

Thursday, August 27, 2015. Thank You Miss Pat! I love my new Fox and Hedgehog pillows. They make the perfect reading spot on my other twin bed! Thursday, August 13, 2015. Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We took the pop up to Mile High campground near Cherokee NC so we could visit Wade's second National Park. I hope he grows to love these national treasures like I do. Daddy helped him stamp his passport. Once back we scaled the tower at Clingman's Dome. I was here as a kid but in a complete fog. Wife,...

Friday, January 23, 2015. Two new Skiers in the family! We gave Alden and Landon a day skiing for their Christmas gift this year. Appalachian Ski Mountain it was on MLK Monday. Weather and snow conditions were great and it wasn't as crowded as we feared. We started with a lesson with Mr Ken then had the afternoon to practice. 65039;Aunt Mary kept Wade occupied in the lodge and he liked watching all the activity too! By the end of the day Landon had this run! Great progress for the very first time on skiis.

Spokes and Stitches: On this Mother's Day
http://spokesandstitches.blogspot.com/2015/05/on-this-mother-day.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. On this Mothers Day. But I have had a lot of wonderful other women in my life that have helped mother me. Our world is changing fast and you certainly don't have to limit yourself to one who you thank for these lessons. I can't begin to tell them all but this morning here are a few that stand out:. Pat Langston - Who would have dreamed my college roommates in laws would have embraced me and made me feel like a part of their family often when my family was far away. I can sit rig...

Spokes and Stitches: September 2014
http://spokesandstitches.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 22, 2014. Max spent the night last night and they treat each other like brothers that's for sure. The sharing thing is still not easy but they are getting to the point where they will play and converse a little. They watched a movie after their bath and I had forgotten to get Max's glasses. As soon as I brought them to him Wade popped up to get a pair too. Hot pink sunglasses and on upside down. Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. We passed another milestone th...

Spokes and Stitches: August 2014
http://spokesandstitches.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 23, 2014. A weekend to celebrate Todd. We got all the extended family together last weekend in Georgia to celebrate my first cousin Todd's 50th birthday. We all have such fond memories or riding three wheeled Hondas (yes I know now how dangerous that was with no helmet), swimming at Aunt Brenda's pool and going to movies after church on Sunday. We had a big cookout and cake at my Grandparents home that his oldest brother now owns. Many good memories at this special place. And finally a S...

Spokes and Stitches: March 2015
http://spokesandstitches.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 21, 2015. Wade went with us as we did a shortened ski trip to the Salt Lake area. He is a good little traveller. Mike got sick and missed our first day at Brighton and the second day at Snowbird has really bad visibility so I am sure we didn't see the best that mountain had to offer. But the last two days were glorious blue sky days at Solitude. So now I am ready for flip flops and getting out on our bicycles and doing some hikes. Spring has sprung in NC! Spokes and Stitches: What is a family?
http://spokesandstitches.blogspot.com/2015/04/what-is-family.html
Friday, April 17, 2015. What is a family? This question was asked of each of Wade's three year old class after learning about families this week. His response: It's when I was born, my Mommy works at Krispy Kreme. I hope someday he truly feels like the day we three met was some type of birthday for our family.for now I know he is proud of where I work. You gotta love the heart of a three year old. Love, love, love this. April 17, 2015 at 10:49 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Passion for Applique.

I hope he grows to love these national treasures like I do. Daddy helped him stamp his passport. Once back we scaled the tower at Clingman's Dome. I was here as a kid but in a complete fog. We also got to see a lot of Elk! Our campsite was perfect, just look at this view and it helped to have good friends along to share the trails! Wife,...

The meanderings of a wife, mom and quilter. Thursday, June 3, 2010. I am a child of God. I have many brothers and sisters in Christ. One of those brothers and his family are in need of prayers. A blog has been set up to keep all informed and comments support the family. Lucas' dad is posting on his daily, sometimes hourly progress. They all need our prayers. He has given permission to share and since I believe in the power of prayer, I have to share. Meanderings by Heritage Quilter. Friday, April 16, 2010.
