When it gets wet enough, a huge slimy wiremesh polygonal form emerges from the confines of the small mushroom in a display that seems anything but natural. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. In the rainforest, there are these little ants with a green back that make their nests by sticking leaves into a ball shape directly in the trees. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. It took us about 8 months but we finally saw our first Australian shark this week! It was a 1.5 meter spotted Wobbegong Shark. Sleeping under a rock. This particular specie is quite flexible and can bite the hand of divers who are harassing them by pulling their tail, which my buddy was doing at the time. Luckily for us, no bloodbath ensued and we got to see it swim away gracefully for a little while until it found another rock under which to go back to sleep. Thursday, June 3, ...

Saturday, November 28, 2009. We've just come into our second month in the Southern Hemisphere. We've headed into Queensland and lost one hour on our watches in the process.
