Monday, March 30, 2009. First, dear friends and family, I want to say thank you for all the kind comments, encouragement, prayers, and support, especially regarding little Jonathan. It means so much to us that you would think of us. We are so blessed to know and associate with so many wonderful people! As a matter of update, Jonathan's surgery is tomorrow morning ( super early! 6:15am- first patient of the day, I think. 160;It's a 45-minute outpatient surgery with a one hour recovery ( not bad, right?

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Eat Sleep Poop. and rock my family's world. It's me, baby Eli. It's been quite a crazy few past months- in my short life I've had 3 IVs, a NICU scare, an ER visit, a surgery. And have been 'put under' twice. I'm fine, though- it all could've be much worse! I'm a pretty happy little guy despite it all. My Daddy graduated medical school and is an official doctor- he's tired and gone a lot for his residency, but I can tell he really enjoys his job. She'll update you soon! If I let her.

Thursday, January 8, 2009. Jonathan's right eye is a bit "lazy", so we are trying glasses to correct it. We got them a few weeks ago (yes, blessedly before we left! And he has worn them rather well. I expected a constant fight to keep them on, but (perhaps his vision was worse than we thought) he actually waits patiently when I put them on and wears them pretty contentedly throughout the day.
