Interactive Worlds has been created to provide the opportunity for young people at BSB to interact with Geography and to come to further understand their world. I hope that in time it becomes a communicative space which students can use to share their learning and experience of their own geography. Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Hot, hot, hot. Perhaps we should have been in Iceland this week! According to today's Iceland Review Online. A heat wave has hit Iceland setting new temperature records . Temperatures rose to 26.2°C in Retkjavik. Yesterday, which is an all-time record for Iceland’s capital. It has never been as warm in Reykjavík since temperatures were first registered 150 years ago. Friday, October 10, 2008. Congratulations to the following who won prizes in our Iceland fieldstudy tour photo competition. To Charlie Guest for this photo of Heimaey taken from the flanks of Eldfell volcano. It won the 'Essence of Iceland' prize. To Lizzie Webster for her captioned photo of lava in Landmannalaugar.
