Grillo Family Road Trip: 4th of July in Catalina
http://grillotrip.blogspot.com/2012/07/4th-of-july-in-catalina.html
Grillo Family Road Trip. A collection of stories from our road trip through life. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. 4th of July in Catalina. We decided to do something new for the 4th this year and ended up in Catalina. We were fortunate to be able to rent a friend's vacation house for a few days, and since we now have the means to cross the ocean, it was an easy choice! From the Parade, to the drinks on the beach at Descanso, it was all good. The "big kids" - ready for the three hour tour! Our day was spent hangi...

The Baby Bump Diaries. A light hearted look at pregnancy and motherhood from a first time mom. The Well Has Gone Dry. April 30, 2015. So, I’ve hit a bit of a crossroads, friends. I have been publishing roughly three blog posts a week for about a solid year now. I photograph, write, edit, and promote everything regarding this blog entirely on my own and I have to admit, I am little tired. I’ve always strived to be honest in this blog, as it is a true dictation of my life and this is exactly where I ...

Greatly Blessed: Valentine's Day Washi Tape Ideas
http://grtlyblesd.blogspot.com/2015/02/valentines-day-washi-tape-ideas.html
Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Valentine's Day Washi Tape Ideas. Valentine's Day is sneaking up on us. I have some super easy last minute fun for you with washi tape! Up first we have card making! The supplies are simple: colored paper, a heart template, scissors, glue stick, and washi tape. I had one of the kids cut out a heart that I thought looked "about right" from a coloring page, but it was too big! You'll need to fold your colored paper in half, both lengthwise and widthwise to create your card.

The Daily Mom About
http://thedailymom.com/about
Founder of The Daily Mom. For me, one of the greatest challenges of being a mom has been staying current…. While juggling carpool runs, homework help, laundry piles, and meal prep. I wanted to stay up to date with the news, but there was so much information online that I didn’t even know where to start. Overwhelmed and tight on time, I found myself resorting to a quick, daily scan of my social media accounts and calling it good enough. What I really wanted though, was to be informed.

Baby Toolkit: Holiday Hack: Toddler-friendly Ornaments
http://babytoolkit.blogspot.com/2007/12/holiday-hack-toddler-friendly-ornaments.html
Friday, December 21, 2007. Holiday Hack: Toddler-friendly Ornaments. Jim and I didn't own a Christmas tree the first year of our married life. His mom thought that was a travesty and bought us a 2' tall artificial tree. This little tree was our primary tree for years. We liked to load it down with comically large ornaments or decorate it with only lights and keep it on the bathroom counter (I smirk to think of this, even though I have no idea why). Switch to our tree on the recommendation of Parent Hacks.

Motherhood: my latest adventure: how to shower with an infant
http://naturemummy.blogspot.com/2012/06/how-to-shower-with-infant.html
Saturday, June 2, 2012. How to shower with an infant. You might find this a rather strange thing to write about, but when I was pregnant with Evening I wondered a lot about how mums showered. This was important to me and I imagined that when the days of being covered in spit-up, poop, and other lovelies showering was going to be vital to my sanity. An example of high contrast. When I turn on the shower and close the curtain, I peek out right away with a big smile and say “Hi Pumpkin! 8221; in a really ex...

Motherhood: my latest adventure: simple DIY play broom
http://naturemummy.blogspot.com/2013/06/simple-diy-play-broom.html
Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Simple DIY play broom. Evening loves playing with my broom. She pretends to sweep, she walks around with it, she talks to it, and lately she's been wanting to play outside with it. The problem with that is how much she wants to sweep things like mud puddles. You will need: a stick, a generous handful of some tall grass, scissors, and a bit of string/twine/etc. A child old enough to use scissors could easily make this themselves. The six-year-old girl that lives next door immediate...
