Saturday, July 3, 2010. Liam is 5 months old Today! And he learned a new trick today too! He can turn over from his tummy to his back. It was pretty funny to watch the first couple of times because he looked so surprised after he did it. Other notable Liam achievements this month:. First two teeth started coming in ( I guess he cant wait for the real food! First started grabbing his toes. First time at the beach. He weighs around 15 lbs according to the scale at home. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. We lost something this Valentine's Day. Kael lost his first tooth 2/14/12. Friday, February 3, 2012. Liam had a very fun birthday! We started out with a playdate at McDonald's with some of his little friends from church. Liam got to run around and eat a few nibbles of chicken nuggets and lick a little frosting from his turtle cupcake. Perfect start to his big day! Turtles were the theme this year because he loves his turtles (teetles as he calls them). Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!

May 3, 2011. We learned this recipe from a roommate in college. My husband LOVES this meal. Not the healthiest but a fun one non-the-less. Ingredients (feeds 4-6 people). 2 cans of crescent rolls. 2 tb butter melted. 2 tb green onion. Cook and chop/shred chicken. Add softened cream cheese, green onion, butter, milk, salt and pepper into a bowl. Add chicken to bowl and mix well. Stretch out dough onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve hot over rice.

Monday, April 26, 2010. Kael is the Proud New Owner of a Fish. It is too cute how much he loves his fish. He proved it by keeping his room clean for a whole week. No small feat for him. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Kiera's Fairy Princess Party. For Kiera's birthday my Mom wanted to give her a Fairy Princess Party. Kiera was so excited she could hardly wait until the day came. For her party all the little girls got to wear fairy wings and flower halos. They each had their nails painted with sparkly nail polish, sparkly make-up done and sparkles sprinkled in the their hair. After their make-up was done they each had their pictures taken in the fairy princess chair. My little princess is 3!

April 21, 2011. Spaghetti with whole wheat pasta. Have you tried whole wheat pasta? I make this sauce to taste so the measurements are just approximations. Taste it as you go and add more of whatever it needs! Lots of good olive oil. 1 stalk celery and or 1 green pepper (or go without). 2 tsp Italian seasoning. 1 can crushed/puree tomatoes. Whole Wheat Penne noodles. Cook pasta according to directions and combine with sauce. Top with parmesan and more olive oil (if you wish) and eat!

September 11, 2011. I love baking way more than cooking. I am better at it. After many trial runs, I have found the perfect recipe for chocolate chip cookies. They are just the right balance of salty and sweet and according to my sister, "they are un-real" hot out of the oven. Did I mention they look really cute too? 1 stick salted butter. 3/4 cup packed brown sugar. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. 12 oz bag of semisweet chocolate chips. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 3/4 teaspoon baking soda.
