I wandered where it is, and the place is just next to his apartment. haha. This is the first time for gathering chestnuts for me. I really enjoyed it. :). They are small kind of chestnuts. Every year in Kouyasan, some temples have the god who is called Kouya-daimyoujin, conducted Kuukai to Kouyasan. In this year, we will have the myoujin-sama very soon! We are preparing for it. そうだ、高野山いこう。 a blog of hojo-in in kouyasan - a world heritage site. 奥之院萬燈会（おくのいんまんどうえ）　Okunoin-mandoue. A lot of tourou-lights are dedicated with people's wishes in okunoin so that's why the main hall is called `Tourou-dou', decorated with so many lights. This event mantoue is held a mass at night by fresh monks pray for wishes to come true. The cue is starting for the mail fall. いざ、出陣！れっつだごー！ The people just follow the cue. No photo from the entrance of the main hall near by. It was very ritualistic.

Higan - the word `Higan' meaning is `the other shore' in Buddhism, nirvana. We have two times of Ohigan in a year, - two periods of seven days with the middle day falling on the spring or autumn equinox. During ohigan, the spirits of forebears are recalled, Buddhist rites carried out, and family graves are visited.
