Graceful Addiction: December 2007
http://graceful-addiction.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 27, 2007. Grace is out of hospital. This week has emotionally been one the worst I have ever experienced. I have been constantly waiting for the phone to ring with bad news, and when it rings and it is good news I just keep crying! It has been a real emotional rollercoaster and not one I wish to ever repeat! I am due to pick her up on 9th January when we come home. I cannot wait to have her back with me! Monday, December 17, 2007. I have just had a phone call from the resident vet Mel.

Team McNair: Off to Training Camp
http://teammcnair.blogspot.com/2010/03/off-to-training-camp.html
The trials and tribulations of an aspiring dressage rider. Wednesday, 17 March 2010. Off to Training Camp. Yesterday afternoon, Bolli and I did the four hours drive down to Oxford to drop her off at Michael Peace's on 'Training Camp'. Thankfully, the traffic was on our side and it was quite a smoothe journey (not something I expected of the M6, M42 and M40! She settled in at Michael's with ease and I left her munching happily on her hay looking very pleased with herself! Posted by Rebecca McNair.

Team McNair: June 2010
http://teammcnair.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The trials and tribulations of an aspiring dressage rider. Wednesday, 9 June 2010. It's been quite an exciting few months. I cannot believe how much time has passed since my last entry. So much has happened since then! Since then, with the help of Sam Cawkwell, we have gone from strength to strength. So much so that I decided to book her in to the Badminton Young Horse class at Myerscough Arena on 13th June. So on to Sunday now. 9th June 2010 - Myerscough Arena. Hannah and Grace had an altercation in the...

Graceful Addiction: April 2008
http://graceful-addiction.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 21, 2008. After a long day competing, my lovely husband came up to the yard to meet me for some moral support. It was the first time in over 6 weeks (with 4 weeks complete box rest) that I had ridden Grace. On Saturday I had walked her to the end of the yard and back a few times, and let's just say I was glad I was not sat on her! My husband couldn't stop laughing at me because I was blubbering all the way around I never thought we would get back to this stage, and Grace felt so fantastic, ...

Graceful Addiction: June 2008
http://graceful-addiction.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 29, 2008. A quick update on her ridden progress. I am sorry for the lack of Grace updates since her freedom, but things have been so hectic that I have been coming home and just collapsing on the sofa! So, just a quick Grace update as I am supposed to be packing! Sunday, June 01, 2008. Pictures of Grace's freedom. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

JetSet Rebel: September 2008
http://jetset-rebel.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Friday, 12 September 2008. As you can see from the title, Troy has also gained a 1st Premium! I was looking through my evaluation sheet a few weeks ago and discovered the evaluators had actually written his eventing marks alongside the dressage ones. I contacted Jan at BEF and after I had explained the reasons I wanted to remain in the dressage section (to receive the feedback which I found so valuable) it was agreed that he could be awarded the 1st Premium for eventing too. JetSet Rebel: Troy is going to the BEF Futurity
http://jetset-rebel.blogspot.com/2008/06/troy-is-going-to-bef-futurity.html
Sunday, 29 June 2008. Troy is going to the BEF Futurity. Things have changed slightly since this blog was started. Troy was living in a field with two other colts, but he had some scabs on his face which were being caused by a lice infestation. I decided to bring him home because there was no way I could send him up to the producers with lice, so he has been living at Corrie Green’s yard since May. I am going up to visit him in two weeks time, so a long update will no doubt be made!

JetSet Rebel: Troy at the Futurity
http://jetset-rebel.blogspot.com/2008/08/troy-at-futurity.html
Saturday, 23 August 2008. Troy at the Futurity. Firstly, let me apologise for the delay of this post and also the lack of updates on this blog. Things have been pretty hectic since the Futurity, but I am now getting into the routine of having three horses and it is becoming slightly easier. We got to Myerscough with plenty of time, so I walked him around, reloaded him a few times and had a few trots up in hand. He felt pretty good, was listening to me and not too hot either. As we walked over to ...The v...

Graceful Addiction: September 2007
http://graceful-addiction.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 06, 2007. We are through in the Novice too! I received an email this week from BD to say Grace had not only qualified in the Preliminary class at the Winter Championships, but also in Novice as she gained 4th place in the Novice Restricted! I was completely astounded as never in my wildest dreams did I imagine she would qualify in the Novice class. I had hoped for a placing in the Preliminary, but gaining second in that was a dream come true! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
