Our Adventure To Ethiopia. Saturday, August 16, 2008. Today we ventured out to see the Ethiopian national museum in the afternoon, only to find out that Melese isn’t much of a history buff. We walked around the ground floor for about 20 minutes before he started wailing for some reason, and no matter what he tried, we could not calm him down. Afterwards we hit up a coffee shop, and bought some fresh roasted beans to take home with us. The shops here roast their own beans, which we heard takes around ...

Our Adventure To Ethiopia. Sunday, December 30, 2007. Since I last wrote, we have completed our dossier! It was dropped in the mail in early November, and we are currently waiting for it to arrive at the Uzbek embassy. I'm just praying that by some miracle we'll still only have to take one trip. It's not just the added cost of taking more trips over there, but that Eric may not be able to take that much time off work. I cannot imagine going to get the baby without him! Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I’m not saying we slept much (since both of us were listening for them to breathe every 5 seconds), but at least the babies slept well.
