Monday, December 17, 2007. Have you ever tried asking a three-year-old not to make any noise? After awhile, we decided to just ask them all to speak nicely to each other . "words of peace and gratitude," I insisted over and over again. Seems like we could all use a little more practice! Jon first learned about Ibrahim two years ago when he planned a trip to Israel with some of the men's staff from camp. They stayed at his home then, and it only seemed fitting that we should bring the kids here as well.
