I think that with the right amount of carbonation it would have been a damned tasty beer. February 5, 2007 at 12:16 am · Filed under Beer. Used a recipe from Home Brew Shop in St. Charles. Powder malt took longer to dissolve than expected. Cooled wort by placing brew pot inside a cooler, surrounded by ice and water. Cooled to around 100 degrees in about 15 minutes. Transferred wort from brew pot through collander into smaller pot, then poured through a funnel into carboy. E-mail (required, not be published! Home of Son of a Thief home-brewed beers.
