Homespun Holidays
Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Happy New Year 2014. I dipped the rims in milk, then in some sprinkles to add a festive touch. They dried for about an hour before we used them. Home of common Cents. TRUTH MAKES YOU FREE. INTENT OF THIS BLOG. IN THE MIDST OF BATTLE. Joshua M. Blahi is the man who was known as General Butt Naked during the Liberian Civil War which drew to a close in 1996. He always went into battle naked except for boots and weapons, hence his war name. I still find his story both troubling and perhaps redemptive. Naked, plunging again into slaughter, aching. To inflict pain –. Furiously pounding pulse revels in screams. As legs push powerfully forward,. Who will...

This past Sunday I heard a sermon on Isaiah 35:1-10. November 10, 2016.
