A Batata Integral: Corpos Extintuídos
http://abatataintegral.blogspot.com/2015/06/corpos-extintuidos.html
Domingo, junho 21, 2015.

Culinary School Archives - Serving Seconds

My Experience at SF Cooking School. For most of this year, I have been on an amazing journey…and, while it’s not quite over yet, the end is drawing very near. And that makes me pretty darn excited, but pretty darn sad at the same time. That journey is called culinary school, and it all started when a crazy idea popped into my head about a year ago. A girl and her dream. On an otherwise normal weekday, I found myself perusing the recreational class schedule on the SF Cooking School. Which is as close as w...

domestic sensualist: January 2012
http://www.domesticsensualist.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 24, 2012. I had been dutifully pinning rainbow cakes for some time, but was a little shocked to find that most of them called for a box cake (oh the horror! I guess that would make it slightly easier, but honestly, when a scratch cake is as easy as it is, why on earth settle for box? I found this recipe. 250 grams butter (i always used salted, but you can go with unsalted if you like). 1 cup of sugar (fill your 250ml measuring cup to the top, my metric friends). 1/2 C (120ml) milk. As i ...

domestic sensualist: new year's feast
http://www.domesticsensualist.com/2013/01/new-years-feast.html
Monday, January 7, 2013. There were mocktails for the kids - our friends selected a wide variety of fruit and juices (sparkling and non) that they could use to compose their cocktails in special, glowy glasses. the adults took a more traditional route - crisp gin and tonics, followed by a glass of champagne during the queen's speech and then a nice amarone with dinner. Even the non-oyster lovers enjoyed the bacon-topped deliciousness. the kids did too. 1 package of baby spinach leaves. Pile it all on a b...

http://www.domesticsensualist.com/2012/05/cooking-with-nettles.html
Thursday, May 10, 2012. I can't count the times i've sworn at the patches of stinging nettle. Around our property (and they are many) as they stung my hands or my legs. but i won't be doing it anymore. not now that i've learned how wonderful nettles are to eat! They're also really good for you - with one of the highest protein contents in the plant world and loads of medicinal uses (which i won't go into here, as i'm no expert and haven't yet tried them). 100 grams toasted pine nuts. 2 cloves of garlic.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. 65279;. Herbs, Rosemary, Thyme and Sage. One of the best things to plant at anytime (excluding outdoors in winter) has been herbs. You can't go wrong with chives or thyme fresh from your garden to bring life to often bland dishes. And where would we be without basil for pesto?
