Bee in his bonnet: Silver Cock
http://beeinhisbonnet.blogspot.com/2007/10/silver-cock.html
Bee in his bonnet. Friday, 19 October 2007. Have you noticed how in many cases the service doesn't actually get better in expensive restaurants, it gets worse? It always intrigues me. You go into a very cheap restaurant and aren't surprised if the waiting staff don't have a clue about how to wait, or are not very friendly. There are some honourable exceptions to that, yes, but the point is that it is not a surprise. Posted by Major Gripe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Enter your search terms. What ...

Bee in his bonnet: Pea-souper
http://beeinhisbonnet.blogspot.com/2007/09/pea-souper.html
Bee in his bonnet. Wednesday, 17 October 2007. An interesting side effect of the smoking ban is the territory battle that has taken place. I never like to waste fine weather, particularly not when winter is around the corner, and definitely not when summer was another winter. Perhaps we should bear this in mind the next time we try to ban something. Posted by Major Gripe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Enter your search terms. Subscribe to this blog. Bee in his bonnet: Radiohead review
http://beeinhisbonnet.blogspot.com/2007/10/radiohead-review.html
Bee in his bonnet. Monday, 15 October 2007. Now that the Radiohead album. Has been released, here is my view of things:. There was another, overlooked, reason why Radiohead might have put their album out for download with people choosing how to much to pay. It is rubbish. Posted by Major Gripe. Bee in his bonnet: Tealeaves
http://beeinhisbonnet.blogspot.com/2007/10/tealeaves.html
Bee in his bonnet. Saturday, 27 October 2007. I am lucky to have a very happy and full life. But I've decided that what is missing is a thumpingly good campaign about something. I'm not particularly fussed about campaigning to save the world, as most of the possible ways already seem to be campaigned about. So it's going to be something far more insidious: thieving restaurateurs. Posted by Major Gripe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Enter your search terms. Subscribe to this blog. Did you miss me?

Business strategy from an obsessive mind. Ebay at the crossroads ». Hi, welcome to my new strategy blog. This is going to cover my thoughts about corporate strategy, both theory and company-specific. It is just opinion, so please do comment and debate. I work in-house as a strategy consultant for a major UK financial services company, but my interest in this blog is in strategy generally – not just financial services. Anyway, I hope that you enjoy reading it. 1,678 Responses to “Welcome”. Orange County S...

http://mashalloyd.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. Taking Pippa to Oli’s newsroom, Results day, retail therapy at Zara, a surprise party, Suzy with Sandeep in London and other stories. With Olivia and Pippa at her newsroom in Madrid on Monday. Let me start with last Monday, my fasting day. There was terrible news in Spain that morning when we heard that a 13 year old boy had killed a teacher. A woman lights a candle in memory of the teacher killed in Barcelona on Monday by a 13 year old boy. Boats are coming daily from the coast...

http://mashalloyd.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. A wonderful week in London with Suzy including a day in Brighton with Keith and Lorraine and an evening with Sandra and all together at home again. With Suzy at Richmond near London. Soon we were at her house having a cup of tea and then I got Eladio to ring Yoigo to find out my pin number. I was so relieved to have my phone up and running again. I mean, can you imagine me without my mobile? Shopping at Tesco with Gábor and Suzy. They carry the shopping home on their bikes. At th...
