Top results are reached only through pain. But eventually you like this pain. Monday, July 16, 2007. Chattanooga Waterfront Race Report. Made the drive down to Chattanooga Saturday and got checked into my hotel room. I enjoyed some quite time after picking up my packet and then met Lana. And her family for dinner. I tried to get to bed early but with the time change it was really hard. 4:45am eastern time came really early. There was a delay getting the race started but finally it was underway. I was number 411 so it took about 20 minutes before I got in the water. I came down the...

Michele's Training: Behind!!
http://micheletraining.blogspot.com/2010/05/behind.html
Tuesday, May 18, 2010. I am so far behind on my blog that there is no way I can post about everything I have been up to for the past week. So here are some highlights. The Plan got crazy in week 2 and had a 3.5 hour ride on a TUESDAY? I managed to get in 2 hours on the trainer. Couldn't take it any longer. Almost skipped swim class but Kim talked me into going. 3000 yards later I was glad I went but exhusted. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Michele's Training: Let the Training Begin
http://micheletraining.blogspot.com/2010/05/let-training-begin.html
Monday, May 03, 2010. Let the Training Begin. Today is the first day of training for Ironman Louisville. Problem is I am still fighting with my plantar fasciitis. So instead of the 8 miles of running my plan called for I went to the Rec Center and did 12 miles on the ellipical. No, it is not the same but better then nothing I guess. I have made another doctor's appointment for next week. I hope he has some ideas that will get me back to running soon! Monday, May 03, 2010 6:32:00 PM. Tom King Half Marathon.

Fitty on the West Coast: February 2007
http://fittydailyreport.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Fitty on the West Coast. A daily account of a misplaced Canadian working, living and training on the West coast. Thursday, February 8. Oh yeah, I've been tagged! What a great time for me to get tagged! I've been a little down since this injury and have been second guessing whether or not I can train for the half ironman and the STP (200 mile bike ride from Seattle to Portland) this year. Partly because training takes up a lot of time. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the women I train with! So much for an nice...

Our New Zealand Adventure: Blue Lake Swim
http://scottsnzadventure.blogspot.com/2008/09/blue-lake-swim.html
Our New Zealand Adventure. Sunday, September 21, 2008. I have been eager to swim in the Blue Lake (venue of Half Ironman swim) but I wanted to wait for it to get a bit warmer. We've had a few warm days but we're still in the middle of spring. It was Adam's idea to go to the lake today. I went along with his 'swim plan' thinking that he'd feel how cold it was and we'd be home before we knew it. I was OK(ish) because I had a wetsuit but the others must have been frozen. Fitty on the West Coast: September 2006
http://fittydailyreport.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Fitty on the West Coast. A daily account of a misplaced Canadian working, living and training on the West coast. Tuesday, September 26. How sluggish newbies ruined the marathon? Wow I am a believer in freedom of speech but this article,. Who said that the marathon needs to be for serious runners looking to finish in 3:20 instead of just crossing the finish line? What is wrong with setting a goal of completing a 26.2 mile run, even if it's in 6 hours and you have to run/walk/limp/crawl to get there? This ...
