Stuff for Dads: Review Scheme
http://www.stuff.dadsdinner.com/p/review.html
The Edge of the Otherworld. The reviews at DadsDinner.com are merely my opinion. Feel free to disagree with them but try to keep comments friendly and coherent. Thanks. If you're looking for up to the minute reviews of the latest cinema releases then look elsewhere - my local Vue hasn't yet provided me with free tickets, childcare and beer. Nope, I'll be reviewing whatever has risen to the top of my LOVEFiLM rental queue this week. Chances are it will be a film with explosions. You'll be tempted to watch...

Stuff for Dads: May 2011
http://www.stuff.dadsdinner.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
The Edge of the Otherworld. Dads need lots of stuff. I've put together a list of the important stuff over in the Handbook. Brace yourself, though - it runs onto a second page. The stuff reviewed here isn't really so essential (apart from maybe Aveeno. And Iceland home delivery. It is all quite fun, however. Check out some of the many toys and games. That have kept my children amused over the years, avoid the horror of the Golden Coin Maker. And discover one of the best books ever. Find the review here.

DadsDinner.com: About Us
http://www.dadsdinner.com/p/about-us_28.html
The Edge of the Otherworld. Sometimes housedads need to know that they're not alone. DadsDinner is here to provide advice, humour and sanity. This site has evolved and changed over the years but back in 2007 I wrote this:. My aims in creating DadsDinner.com are as follows:. To pass on some of the knowledge I've learnt the hard way before I forget it all. To share a few laughs. To give myself a sense of achievement. An achievement. Yes, I know that I frequently reassure you elsewhere in this website t...

Kids, Cuddles & Caffeine: Everything my children know, they learnt from Mario
http://www.kidscuddlesandcaffeine.dadsdinner.com/2014/01/everything-my-children-know-they-learnt.html
Kids, Cuddles and Caffeine Extract. Everything my children know, they learnt from Mario. I’ve told you before that my kids were taught to read and count by Nintendo. They could figure out how many gold coins they needed to win in. Before they were halfway through nursery. Lewis went into the summer holidays at the end of Primary 2 with a stuttering grasp of the written word, spent six weeks playing text-heavy. Games and came out the other side as a BOOK DEVOURING MACHINE! Super Mario 3D World. 8217; Figh...

Stuff for Dads: Tadpole's Promise
http://www.stuff.dadsdinner.com/2008/09/tadpoles-promise.html
The Edge of the Otherworld. By Jeanne Willis and Tony Ross. A tadpole and a caterpillar meet at the surface of the water and fall in love. They promise each other that they will never change. This goes very, very badly. There are far too many children's books involving fluffy animals, predictable outcomes and happy endings. There simply aren't enough black comedies. Goes some way to redressing the balance. This book strikes me as exceptional in the same way as. The Father who had 10 Children. Is entertai...

Stuff for Dads: October 2009
http://www.stuff.dadsdinner.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
The Edge of the Otherworld. You find a ticket to HorrorLand, a new and terrifying theme park. Once you're inside, however, you're trapped for all eternity. The only way to escape is to master the rides and, er. play crazy golf. Throws in a surprise - the mini-games are actually good. They're much more substantial than in most similar collections and are generally rather enjoyable. Some of them take several minutes per shot, involve plenty of skill and employ graphics at a level that I'd forgotten...Like ...
