Program from the inauguration of Abisko. 4 AMD Opteron 6344 (Abu Dhabi) 12 core (2.6 GHz). 2 thin nodes have 128 GB RAM each.

Using Env. Var. File system and storage. HPC2N currently operate two clusters, Abisko (AMD Interlagos cluster comprised of 328 nodes with a total of 15744 cores and 49.5 TB RAM), and Akka (Intel Xeon cluster comprised of 672 nodes with a total of 5376 cores and 10.7 TB RAM). Abisko began installation during the fall of 2011, and a partial - or interim system - was in use until february 2012, when the final system was installed. Abisko was extended by a further 10 nodes during January 2014.
